I called Fast Flow after another plumber did not fix the problem. TJ & his team were prompt, professional and knowledgeable. Soon after they arrived, they determined the issue and went to work. They explained the problem to me in "lay language" and not "plumber talk." Fair prices, excellent quality, off the chart professionalism. I will call Fast Flow for all of my plumbing needs from here on out!

I looked up plumbers on the internet and got a number to call. It was Fast Flow Plumbing LLC . They sent a young man out last Saturday to check on a leaky faucet on our bathtub. He came in took one look at it and said It would cast between $400 and $580 to fix. This seemed extremely high and I said we would get back to him this week. In the mean time they sent me a quote showing Replace stem and seat $210.42, Replace stem and seat 1 year warranty $205.15 and Replace tub valve with trim 1 year warranty $579.99 for a total of $995.56. I finally got hold of a local plumber who came out Monday and fixed the leak for $70.00.
I have dealt with some ripoff artists in the past(I'm 80 years old) but never have I encountered a worse case of fraudulent pricing in my life.
What you were given was a estimate to first replace a seat and stem to correct your leak, then a estimate for a valve replacement if that didn't fix your issue. The estimate was not 900.00, it was several estimates in one to be up front about all possible costs. As far as a local plumber for 70.00, your local Plumber has nowhere near the overhead of a large company who warrantees all of their work. 70.00 don't cover fuel, advertising, and our plumbers time that we pay for. We have thousands of very satisfied customers and to call a company rip off artists is very upsetting because you don't agree with a200.00 charge to repair your issue with a warranty.
They are way off base in what they say. Their representative Brysen T said he could take off $20.00 from his quote to me for a total of $395.00. I don't care how much it costs them to cover their overhead, just to replace a stem and seat should never cost this much. I stand by my original statement and believe that any other honest plumbing company in Lexington would not cost anywhere near this amount.
I am bet disappointed in someone calling my company that I've worked hard to build myself after being in this business for 20 years with thousands of happy customers never once in my time have I ever been called dishonest and that is an insult to all of us at Fast Flow. We are up front with our coats on all jobs, drive from Lexington to Harrodsburg without charging the travel fee everyone else charges just to give a estimate to someone wanting something for nothing. 75.00 for a service call, google cost that much just to click our ad. I am so glad that the vast majority of folks that use us expect the quality of service we deliver for the fair prices we ask. 75.00 for a service call where an item is repaired is not realistic for a company with more that a guy and a truck. Even if the price is more than a customer expects, to call someone a rip off artist on the better business website odds totally ridiculous, when I don't agree with a price I just go elsewhere, not try to ruin someone's reputation on Revdex.com.
