My mom was injured due to a fall. We arrived at fast med urgent care in Clayton nc at 10:50am. It is currently 1:55 pm and we are still waiting. If my mother was not in pain we would leave. The employees are walking around/sitting/eating and chatting. They are not putting their patients needs first. I will not come back again. I would like for them to apologize to my mother. When we arrived only 2 patients were in the waiting area. They did not seem to be busy or care that they were slow.

It's deplorable that FastMed choose to send my account to collections. First off, I went to have stitches put in. Now before you see any medical staff you must pay the co-pay. I paid the $75 copay. I went back a week later to have then taken out.

1) I WAS NOT INFORMED, that having them removed constitutes another service
2) During the second visit, I was never asked to pay again. I walked in, I said "I was told to come back to have my stitches out." Desk person, told the nurse. The nurse called me to the back. She pulled them out. I asked "It is that it?" She said yes, you are good.

I leave. I don't get any correspondence or phone calls from Fast Med. Then out of the blue, 7 months later I see on my credit report that something has been placed for collection. I call the credit agency and they say "They called me 3 times" and that Fast Med mailed out 3 letters to me. Apparently I left my apartment number off the form, which MIGHT explain why I didn't receive the letters. HOWEVER, my should have been on it and the mail carrier could have easily figured out that it was mine. But that's not even my issue...


My issue is that the collection agency claims they had a good number for me and left 3 message..............WOULDN'T THEY HAVE GOTTEN THAT NUMBER FROM FASTMED? So how can you just send something to collection without a phone call FROM FastMed identifying themselves and letting me know of this balance?
