Hired them to move me to my current address and completely destroyed my furniture, filed a complaint for a refund but they were rude & avoided me.
I hired them to move me, not only did they arrive late but they said they had things handled so I expected professionals and I was very disappointed. My furniture wasnt covered like how I told them to and once they arrived to my new location they unloaded my belongings carelessly and ripped my $1400 mattress along with breaking my wooden stairs from my new house. I let the movers go thinking I could just talk to management since I was fed up at that point and when I called the very next day the lady on the phone was very rude because I asked for a refund and reimbursement for my mattress, she told me she would take my claim and it would take 3 days but then when I called 3 days later it turned to 3 weeks and after that she yelled at me and hung up. Poor customer service and I don't even have a building in which to go complain to. I want to be reimbursed fully at this point.

Desired Outcome

I'm seeking for the business to reimburse me for my $1400 mattress and also for the wooden steps they broke along with the refund for the moving service I hired them to do.

Dear Sir or Madam:
I am writing this letter regarding a service I received from Fast Movers LV, a moving company in Las Vegas, Nevada that I hired for their moving services. Their contact information is (***) ***

On May 13th, 2020, I called Fast Movers LV and spoke with a woman named Anna. I explained my need for movers and a truck, and she booked me for a cost estimate appointment for the next morning.

The movers arrived at my home on Thursday, May 14th at 8 AM in a truck. Mike ***, owner of the company and husband to Anna, introduced himself and his three male employees. The movers worked for 6 hours that day moving my furniture.

Mike quoted me $1,200 for the move, as he said the truck would need two separate trips to completely move my things. He asked for a cash deposit of $800 and scheduled the remaining half of my move on Sunday, May 17th, 2020 at 9 AM.

I preferred not to give a cash deposit, so I wrote a check for $800. When asked who I should write the payment out to, Mike asked me to pay it to his mother, who is named Shai ***.

I wrote the check, they left, and I looked forward to Sunday's moving appointment. Unfortunately, on Friday, May 15th, 2020, Anna called me to cancel and reschedule my appointment. I agreed to a new date when she informed me that they would give me a call on Sunday to confirm my new appointment for Monday, May 18th, 2020.

The company failed to call me on Sunday to confirm my appointment for the next day, which is unlike anything I've ever experienced with a reputable business before. I became worried because I had already paid $800 for a portion of the moving services.

On Monday, May 18th, 2020, I called Fast Movers LV at 7:30 AM because I never received a call, and I still didn't have a confirmed appointment time. Mike answered the phone in an overtly hostile and inappropriate fashion. He shouted into the phone, "Why are you calling my wife?"

Shocked because I was calling the company's phone line, I politely explained that they never gave me a call to confirm my appointment, and I wanted to know what time my appointment would be that day. Mike rudely responded, "I don't want to do business with you."

I kindly let him know that I would need a refund for my deposit and if not, I would file a complaint. It was then that he hung up on me.

I called the number again, hoping to fix the issues in a professional manner and find out more about my appointment, and this time, Anna answered the phone. She let me know that the moving truck was coming later that day, May 18th, between 11 AM and 12 PM.

Anna assured me they would call me before the truck arrived. To my frustration, I did not hear back from her or anyone else at Fast Movers LV. I called Anna again, and she said, "The guys are still busy doing another job so they're not sure if they're coming today or tomorrow." I was shocked at the unprofessionalism of this company, but because they already had my deposit, I waited to hear back about my appointment; it was very frustrating to feel so helpless and at the mercy of this company's unacceptable behavior.

Later that day, at around 3:30 pm, Mike and his 3 employees arrived at my home. Mike saw my friend who was with me exactly as he talked to me on the phone that morning--very inappropriately. He was arrogant and rude and made us feel uncomfortable. My friend advised me not to hire this company, and Mike eventually left after cursing at my friend, and asked his employees to leave .The moving job was not completed.

During my interaction with Fast Movers LV, I noticed Mike's 3 men were driving a truck Without a License plate number, which didn't seem right for a legitimate business. Mike, however, was driving a black *** with a license plate number ***.

Desired Outcome

As a customer, I was extremely offended by the unprofessional, harassing, and unreliable nature and behavior of Fast Movers LV, the owners, Mike and Anna, and I decided to file this complaint against them for the hope that another Customers may avoid doing business with them and not have to endure the horrible treatment that I received. Based on my interaction with Fast Movers LV, I worry that they are not a legitimate business. Although they claimed to be licensed and insured, the owner Mike *** could not provide me with a business card or identification when asked. I am unsure if he provided me with his real name, since I was not shown an ID and I was asked to address my deposit check to an outside person (Mike's mother) rather than directly to the company. I would appreciate your assistance in resolving my complaint. I would like to get some refund from Fast Movers LV . I hope to be able to resolve this problem amicably with your support. I hope that the Nevada Transportation Authority and the Revdex.com put an end to this alleged moving company so that no other person will get scammed as I did. if you have questions or need additional information. Destroyed my furniture during the moving process and won't take ownership.
Moved me on a Wednesday. TAPED MY FURNITURE. IT'S FRIDAY MORNING 9AM and we're at the new place removing their patch job. Took the varnish off my furniture. I called the lady and she says they didn't do it and I should've said something that day. Mind you, I'm in the process of moving from place to place, so how would I know until I start setting up? Horrible customer service. The lady argued with me in an aggressive manner and told me I did it to my own furniture. That they didn't do anything. I have proof of the furniture in storage as well and we haven't removed the tape so we could prove this company did it. Also, I can verify that since they've dropped my furniture off to the storage unit, no one has been in there and the last people inside my unit were her workers. She refuses to acknowledge my issue and the customer service is awful.

Desired Outcome

They've destroyed 6 pieces of furniture that total in the thousands. I'm willing to accept a full refund from the moving services or money back on my furniture.
