Initial Business Response / [redacted] (1000, 8, 2016/02/29) */ Hello, we are writing to you for the response to case # 8900938: [redacted] ***I have received the letter regarding the purchase of a used tire from Mr*** When he arrived regarding the situation of what happen to his tire, my employee [redacted] assisted him who wears a uniform of Fast tire, with his name tag is on it for customers to see if they have any questions so he can assist them -Mr [redacted] had mentioned to Mr [redacted] regarding a purchase of a used tire that he had purchased about 3months agoHe said that the tire was defective because it had just blown up and was not an incident -Mr [redacted] responded saying sorry to hear that sirUnfortunately I can't say it was defective or an incidentRegarding the purchase of used tires, there is not any warranty on themWe have two signs displaying on our shop, one in the outside and one inside regarding the purchases of used tires -Mr [redacted] then responded that he has the receipt saying that there is a warranty on the tire and not only that you guys told me at first that the tire was thirty-six dollars and you ended charging me Why are you guys saying different prices for used tires and charging the customers different prices -Mr [redacted] then explained to him that the receipts are pre-stamped to have One Year Pro-Rated Factory defect warranty, for only the brand new tires that we sell and install hereThe used tires in which we install here do not have warranty because the year in which they were first purchased brand new has passedThe used tires that we sell here go for 35$ with installation plus $for the balance, in which we ask the customer prior to balancing the tire if they would like to get it balanced -Mr [redacted] responded asking if he can get any credit back for the used tire since it was defective -MrMartinez then told Mr [redacted] that he can't issue any credit for the used tire since it has no warrantyI can sell you new tires that do offer warranty, and take off 20$ for the purchase of tires -Mr [redacted] then said, why would I buy new tires from you guys if you don't stick to what we say on our receipt -MrMartinez told him sorry for the inconvenience but as I mentioned I can't offer any credit for the purchase of the used tire that has been used on the vehicle -Mr [redacted] then mentioned to MrMartinez that this is a small town to have a bad business reputation in because everyone knows each other and gets informed fastWell, just to inform you, you will be hearing from me pretty soon -Mr [redacted] told him, ok thank you and have a great day If you have any other question, please email me, [redacted] @hotmail.com or mail information to XXXXX highway 41, Coarsegold, CA XXXXX Sincerely, Reginaldo [redacted]

-Mr. [redacted] had mentioned to Mr. [redacted] regarding a purchase of a used tire that he had purchased about 3months ago. He said that the tire was defective because it had just blown up and was not an incident.
-Mr. [redacted] responded saying sorry to hear that sir. Unfortunately I can't say it was defective or an incident. Regarding the purchase of used tires, there is not any warranty on them. We have two signs displaying on our shop, one in the outside and one inside regarding the purchases of used tires.
