Hello,It is true that auto-renewal is a default settingIt is explained in the Terms of Service (User Agreement 3.8) that we will attempt auto-renewal unless notified that the customer wishes to disable auto-renewalWe also provide functionality within the account control panel to turn off auto-renewal (See included screenshot displaying the "renewal options" button in the account profile)The setting was never disabled, nor did we receive any requests to disable it.If the email address provided to us was no longer active, we cannot be held responsible for any information that was therefore not deliveredIt is the customer's responsibility to maintain accurate contact information within their accountWe also see that the account was accessed on December 13, (days prior to the auto-renewal charge), and some account profile information was updated at that timeTherefore, the opportunity was available to change renewal settings and update the email address on file.The refund was issued on the same day we were contactedThere is always a delay due to the time taken for the funds to move between financial institutions, and we have no control over the amount of time taken.We regret any inconvenience that you may have experienced, but again, FastDomain is not responsible for any gain or loss associated with currency exchanges
