Hello,I have attached two files for your review. One of them is the original agreement signed by Mrs*** in February of 2016. On our agreement forms we clearly have our cancellation policy laid out and even take it a step further and have everyone initial by the cancellation
policy stating that they understand the terms of the cancellation policy. The second file is the cancellation form Mrs*** signed when canceling her daughters agreement. On this form it is again clearly laid out our cancellation policy and states that any payments that fall within the days will be drafted in full. days is what we have our customers agree to, not or any other number of days, but 60. It has been our cancellation policy for over years now and we rely on the integrity of our customers to honor their agreement as a way to avoid having term contracts and higher rates like other similar businesses in our area. As I explained to Mr*** over the phone and Mrs*** via email, in house we don't look at a persons monthly billing date when we input their cancellation into our system. We input their notice of cancellation as days and let our billing and attendance system continue until we get a message from within the system that someone's membership has expired. At that time we inactivate the student from our system and no further billing or contact to the student is made. The reason that the last charge was made was because it fell within the days, again we don't offer a day notice, nor do we offer a month notice, but a day notice. Since February was a short month her days was extended into April and that is the reason that the charge was made. Now in good faith we did in fact refund Mrs*** her monies, however even after the refund was processed in our system she, her family and friends continued to place bad reviews and comments on our Facebook page, google reviews and other places and even went so far on some of them to use language that was not appropriate, calling us things such as bs.
