I signed up for service for a year....unfortunately we have to move out of state and I was told basically I have to forfeit a refund for 6 months of unnused service ?!?!?! makes no sense to me....the company isn't out anything so why is there no pro rated refund...to me...bad business!!! Very disappointed!! I would not recommend them

I am rejecting this response because: Hi,I am responding to reopen this complaint,  The emails went in to my junk and I have just discovered them after being contacted by [redacted] at the Revdex.com who instructed me to respond to the email directly.  In response to the contractors information pertaining to this case.  I, [redacted], am the "ignorant and annoying person" whom they claim is not part of the contract.  In truth, it was me and my father whom they sat down with to come up with the plans and I was the person that they coordinated all of the work with. In addition it was MY money that they cashed for all work done on the garage and they are well aware of this. I am sorry that it bothers them that I am a woman and I am questioning their work and actually sticking up for myself  The reason I did not make final payment was because after contacting them with our concerns they told us that there were no problems and that I was an it, thief and liar. and that I did not know what I was talking about. I then contacted the manufacturer of the stucco whom told me that it was applied incorrectly.  I have all of this documentation.  In addition I contacted an attorney who instructed me not to pay them because if they were already this hostile with me that they probably wouldn't work with me to fix the problems anyway which they have proven to be true  At this point, because the stucco was not applied according to code, which I have had documented by a licensed state contractor and licensed architect who also stated this and other  deficiencies with the workmanship on the garage.  There is extensive cracking and discoloration on the entire structure.  This has cost me an additional $2000 in order to have the work checked out.Finally, my father [redacted] has been added to the complaint.Please let us know if you would like copies of the deficiencies of workmanship as I would be happy to oblige.

Nationwide's terms and conditions are listed at the bottom of every shipper invoice/order receipt. Please see section #7 listed under the terms and conditions.

Any damage must be reported to our office within 24 hours of delivery. Nationwide is a broker and the customer agrees it will not hold them liable for any damages caused by the transporter. If notified within 24 hours, Nationwide will assist the customer in filing a claim against the transporter's insurance company. Nationwide reserves the right, at their sole discretion, to settle any claim with a customer subject to the customer transferring all rights to any claims to Nationwide. Customer must grant Nationwide the sole right of subrogation against all parties involved including but not limited to the transporter and/or the transporter's insurance company."
We strive very hard to treat people fairly. We ask that any damage be reported to us within 24 hours of delivery. If this is done, we will assist in handling the claim. When notified within 24 after delivery of damages, Nationwide almost always handles the claim in house and settles directly with the customer. Nationwide then asks the customer to sign over sole right of subrogation against all parties involved. This vehicle was marked delivered on 8/3. The damages were reported to us via email on 8/16 almost two weeks later. When Mr. [redacted] reported the damages, we informed him we would be unable to assist with the claim because the damages were not reported within the allotted time frame.

We understand Mr. [redacted] was out of the country and we delivered to a friend at his request. However, the customer's designated delivery agent must be responsible for adhering to the same rules as the customer. No damage was reported within 24 hours of delivery. Therefore, Nationwide will not be able to assist with the claim. Nationwide has performed as agreed upon with our terms and conditions. We regret if there are any hard feelings and will continue to strive to offer every customer a higher standard of service.

6. Terms and Conditions
1. It is understood and agreed by the Customer, known as the consignor and/or consignee, that Nationwide Auto Transport (hereinafter referred to as "Nationwide"), is a broker and is not the actual transporter.
2. Customer warrants that he or she is the registered legal owner of the vehicle, or that he or she has been duly authorized by the legal owner to enter into an agreement for transportation of the vehicle, and by his or her signature on the other side hereof, hereby authorizes Nationwide to act as the broker to arrange the transportation of the vehicle. Customer authorizes Nationwide to enter into any contract or bill of lading with a transporter for the purpose of providing the services requested by the customer. All services provided are subject to the terms and conditions herein.
3. Customer acknowledges and understands that the insurance advertised is not insurance purchased by Nationwide on Customer's behalf, but rather is insurance represented by the transporter's insurance company. Customer agrees that any transporter providing service requested of the broker shall be solely liable for any and all damages to the vehicle subject to the terms herein. Once Nationwide has obtained a transporter to provide said services, the customer releases Nationwide from any other obligations and will hold it blameless from any and all claims from damages.
4. It is the Customer's responsibility to be sure their vehicle is properly prepared for transport. It is understood and agreed upon that should the vehicle(s) contracted for pick up not comply due to any failure of the customer, customer shall be liable for any charges associated with the loading, unloading, or storing the vehicle until delivery.
5. Customer agrees that Nationwide is not responsible or liable for any claim or loss of any kind in the event the carrier obtained by Nationwide for Customer is late in picking up Customer's vehicle and/or delivering Customer's vehicle, regardless of the length of the delay. It is understood and agreed that Nationwide will not be liable for or reimburse any auto rental accruals, fees, or any other additional expenses incurred.
6. It is understood and agreed that if a carrier cannot deliver or pick up a vehicle directly to or from the customer's door due to restrictions, or inaccessibility, it is the customer's responsibility to meet the driver at a designated location.
7. Customer must inspect their vehicle top to bottom and front to back before signing the Bill of Lading. 8. No lawsuit may be brought after two years and one day from the date when notice is given in writing to the customer that the claim in its entirety or any part of it has been disallowed.
9. This agreement shall be construed and governed in accordance with the laws of the State of Missouri and any and all actions, causes of actions or lawsuits brought by either party shall and must be brought in the applicable state court in and for Howell County, Missouri. Customer agrees that the services provided by Nationwide for Customer were solely in the State of Missouri and any and all actions conducted by Nationwide under this agreement would have been done or were done solely in the State of Missouri. Customer agrees that any judgment obtained in violation at this provision against Nationwide shall be deemed null and void. Should Nationwide be required to enforce or defend any provisions of this Agreement or be involved in any legal proceedings as Plaintiff or Defendant, Customer shall be responsible for and shall pay any and all costs and reasonable attorney's fees incurred by Nationwide.
10. In the event that any provision(s) of this Agreement shall be held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provision(s) hereof shall remain in full force and effect. If any provision is held invalid or unenforceable in any particular circumstance, such provision shall remain in full force and in effect in all other circumstances. If any provision contained herein should be determined to be unenforceable, invalid or illegal in any respect for any reason, such provision shall be revised and/or interpreted to make enforceable to the maximum extent permitted by law.
11. This Agreement sets forth the entire agreement and understanding for the parties hereto with respect to the subject matter of this Agreement, superseding any and all prior and/or contemporaneous promises, agreements or understandings, written or oral, pertaining thereto.
12. Customer(s) represents that he/she is over the age of (18) eighteen and is otherwise permitted by law to enter into this Agreement. Customer further acknowledges that he/she has had ample opportunity to read this Agreement prior to entering into same and that he/she understands the terms and provisions of this Agreement and has voluntarily entered into same.
13. Customer may not unilaterally change any term or condition of this Agreement without the express written consent of Nationwide. If the parties do not expressly agree in writing to modification; these terms will control.
14. Customer understands and agrees that should Customer fail to execute or return this Agreement, by allowing a carrier designated by Nationwide to pick up Customer's vehicle(s), Customer expressly agrees and consents to the terms contained in this Agreement.
Customer agrees he or she will NOT hold Nationwide or the transporter liable for any of the following:
a) Acts of God including but not limited to hail, wind, tornado, hurricane, lighting, or floods.
b) Damage caused to the customer's vehicle by leaking fluids from other vehicles on the transporter or from your own vehicle. This would include but not be limited to battery acid, transmission fluid, oil, grease, or antifreeze.
c) Damage including but not limited to glass breakage or paint chips caused by road pebbles or debris.
d) Any damage to the interior of the vehicle or items left in the interior of the vehicle. (Transporter does not inspect the vehicle's interior)
e) Damage that is unnoticeable due to vehicle's dirty condition at time of loading.
f) Any mechanical damage or change in functionality to vehicle including but not limited to drive train (engine, transmission,

Review: On January 2016 I requested a quote for 20,000 door hangers from FastSigns in Santa Ana, CA. The quote was very reasonable compared to others that I had received so I went ahead and agreed on their services. I sent them through email artwork for the door hangers, the artwork clearly showed the hole where they would be punched through to be used as door hangers.

Soon after they sent me through email artwork proof for me to approve in order to start production. I noticed on the proof that they had labeled the door hangers as flyers. Through email I corrected them that these were door hangers not flyers and they said that they would fix this mistake. The second proof that they send me they were labeled as door hangers and I approved for them to start production.

I later received a call from FastSigns that they had printed the door hangers as flyers, and I told them that we no longer wanted them since that is not what we had ordered. In order to keep our business FastSigns said they would give us a credit of $216.00 bringing our total from $816 to $600 and that they will personally punch the hole themselves.

When I went to pick up the order they were not door hangers like they had promised, they never punched in the holes, artwork was poorly made and it did not resemble the artwork I had originally sent them. All the content was squished in together and the colors did not match the original artwork. We contacted them that this is not the quality of work we had expected from them and since we are unable to use them we would like a refund or a reprint of the order. They declined a refund and in order to reprint them they would charge us full amount for 20,000 door hangers. We had no further contact with them since.

When I checked my account to see the charges that they had made I noticed that they never gave us the $216.00 that they promised and appears on the receipt, instead we got charged the full amount of $816.00.Desired Settlement: $816.00
