Mr [redacted] contacted us on Friday May 23, via our websiteHe stated that a pair of sunglasses he purchased had a lens problem (the lens material was peeling off)Before we even had a chance to respond to his email, he filed the complaint with the Revdex.com (5/23/9:59am) Monday was Memorial Day so our customer service responded to his email on Tuesday May 28, We asked where and when he purchased the sunglassesHis response.."I purchased them from Wal-Mart right before they stopped selling them, not sure on the date, but I am unable to return them to Wal-Mart without a receipt..." (email attached) We offer a one year warranty on that particular style of sunglassesWalmart stopped selling our sunglasses over years agoSince Mr [redacted] could not produce a receipt to prove otherwise, we have to assume the sunglasses were purchased over years ago and are no longer covered by the warranty We then offered Mr [redacted] a pair of replacement lenses for $He was not satisfied with that offer and stated he had filed a claim with the Revdex.com and would "wait to see how that goes." I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
I bought the "SUN" glasses hoping at the very least that they could resist the sun itself.  I bought the sunglasses 3 months ago and do not have a receipt as I bought them with groceries and other items and did not keep track of it,  WAL-MART still sells Fatheadz glasses but does not have a contract with Fatheadz any longer.  So they should NOT be assuming that customers are no longer buying their glasses from WAL-MART.

We offer a one year warranty on that particular style of sunglasses. Walmart stopped selling our sunglasses over 2 years ago. Since Mr. [redacted] could not produce a receipt to prove otherwise, we have to assume the sunglasses were purchased over 2 years ago and are no longer covered by the warranty.
We then offered Mr. [redacted] a pair of replacement lenses for $24.95. He was not satisfied with that offer and stated he had filed a claim with the Revdex.com and would "wait to see how that goes."
