Review: In October of 2010 we had our roof replaced. There were a couple places that after a few months didn't look right & was sticking up. They did come to repair a while later. A few months ago the same thing statred happening in the same spots. We don't believe they did the job properly & that is why we are having problems. We called the owner & he said he would come to look at it. Never heard back from him. Called again - same thing. Eventually after calling to complain again - the owner showed up to tell me he would send his son to look at it. Never heard back. Called him again & he said he would be there after Labor Day since he was so busy. Never came & never called me back. After about 7 more calls he promised to be there no later than week of 10-4. This is just ridiculous. I just want them to fix the roof the way it should have been done the first time.....Desired Settlement: We just want the roof repaired as it should have been done in the first place.

Review: I contracted Farther & Sons Roofing to replace my roof back on January 6, 2011. Work was completed but around 6 months ago I noticed spots where it was leaking in my family room. Contacted the owner, [redacted] and told him .. was told by him that it just may be clogging of gutters causing the leak. I might add it wouldn't leak each time it rained. Then I noticed there were additional spots where it was leaking so I contacted him again on April 1, 2015. (Would like to make note that the workmanship warranty of my contract ends 5 years from 1/6/2011.) During that conversation I told him there is residue noticeable from new leaks (pictures available) .. he asked where the leaks were occurring and he said he would stop by later that day and take a look. The next day I called him to see if he actually stopped by because I was at work and not quite sure if he actually went out to look at the roof. That was the beginning of many phones calls made, 10 to be exact between the dates of 4/1/15 through and including 4/27/15 ... all going straight to voice-mail, with never a return call back. I even made a threat that he would hear from my lawyer if I did not receive a return call. Fortunately I've never had to deal with anything like this before so I'm hoping by reaching out to Revdex.com, this being my first step, maybe I will not have to go the "lawyer" route. But if deemed necessary I will and I'm sure he'd rather not have to go through that.Desired Settlement: I would like Mr. [redacted] to hold up to his end of the contract and come make repairs to my roof before the workmanship warranty runs out.

Review: On 4 separate occasions, Father & Sons Roofing owner [redacted] failed to perform work he contracted to do. [redacted] came to my home, measured, wrote and delivered his bid(s) for roofing work on my property. As a result, we turned away other roofers who, in this day, needed the work!! On FOUR occasions, based on confirmation with Mr [redacted] via telephone I, and/or my wife and/or my son, took off work to be present when said work was to be completed. On 4 occasions, we lost a day's pay because these roofers (or whatever they are) didn't show up, didn't call. All our calls went straight to voicemail. We only managed to speak with them when we called FROM a different phone number (I wonder why). Sure, there were excuses, excuses worthy of pity, which is why we tried 3 more times, catching this loser by way of phone calls; losing a combined EIGHT (8) days of work due to eight misleading lies. Lies which in retrospect were pathological. I hope (as we should have) other families are spared the loss of time & aggravation we endured. We will share this experience as often as possible in an effort to prevent this .Desired Settlement: Reimburse the family members for lost wages [that were] a direct result of this man's repeated lies! Can anyone think of a better outcome?!? That would be justice!

Review: Father and Son was hired to replace a roof. It leaking immediately. We have called on quite a few occasions and have even sent certified letters all which were returned unopened. The roof was supposed to be guaranteed for 20 years and workmanship for 5 years. We have taken them to court, which they did not show up. Just trying to warn other people to stay clear of the business.Desired Settlement: Would like to get the roof repaired so it will quite leaking.
