Father & Sons Moving Co

Review: I saw an ad on craigslist for Father and Sons moving company. I called & told them the amount of furniture/boxes I had to be moved & they gave me a price. I asked the man I talked to [redacted], ###-###-####, if the could move me on Aug 6 and he said yes. I am disabled & because of my disability I was unable to get everything packed by Aug 6 so I called [redacted] again on Aug 4 & asked him if they were able to move me Aug 7 instead of Aug 6 & he said yes & told me he would be at the location I was moving from at 10:00am on the 7th. At 12:30 [redacted] & another man arrived. I & a friend of mine sat outside of his house & watched them load my furniture/boxes onto their truck. While loading my furniture a drawer fell out of my tall dresser they were loading, they picked it up and put it back into the dresser. I did not know that the drawer was damaged until I went to unpack days later. I gave them the address of the apartment I was moving to & [redacted] and his helper took off in their truck with my items. I & a friend left approx. 10 minutes after they did however there was over an hour between the time we got at the new apartment & the time they arrived. They obviously made a stop of some length during that time. The apartment I was moving to is a low income senior apartment. They parked the truck outside the apartment complex. They said they moved all my things into the buildings first floor next to the elevator. I do not know if that is true or not. [redacted] said he & his helper would then take items up to my new apartment on the second floor via the elevator. The next day (8th)I noticed that several of my items that I saw them load on the truck were not in my apartment, they were missing. I text [redacted] at ###-###-#### and told him several items were missing & asked him what I needed to do to file a claim, he has not replied to any of the 3 texts I've sent him. I've mailed a letter to the company address 980 Bay Blvd, Chula Vista. Several of the items were brand new & still in the boxDesired Settlement: I would like Father and Sons moving company to replace the missing items totaling over $500 & repair my dresser drawer. Father & Sons moving company continues to advertise on craigslist & list the contact phone number as ###-###-#### which is the same phone number I talked to [redacted] on & text [redacted] on. I read a review on Yelp from a woman that hired Father & Sons moving company to move her and she they broke & stole her items & that the [redacted] Bay Blvd address they give is fake, it's not their address.
