Father's Rights Investigations Reviews (3)

Review: For more than 4 months I contacted FR to receive a billing printout of my case but none of my emails or phone calls were being responded too. After more than 10 phone message and email messages I finally got a response that they will send me the detailed billing but after two months they still have not sent me the paperwork. I believe they are withholding my money that I should be receiving from my initial payment and because they are an unprofessional business.Desired Settlement: I want a detailed printout of their work and a refund for the money they have not used from my initial payment.

It is unfortunate that [redacted] has not received the information he asked for. His initial invoice dated 11/28/2012 [redacted] was for the amount of $1059.00. This amount was billed to his retainer leaving a balance of $451.00.

Our email records indicate this was emailed to him on that day to his military email address.

I am more than happy to provide the detailed invoice.

Attempts to contact [redacted] were made as late as May 2013.

Additional investigations were performed...in December 2012 and then in January 2013. The account was left open until further instruction from the client.

His positive balance of his retainer is $208.75.

A statement is available.

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)

I check my military email more than 6 times a day and I did not receive a response to the question I asked. The email [redacted] is referring to the email she stated she will send me all my information the following week. More than 2 months later no response. I sent more than 5 unanswered emails over a span of 6 months and left several messages and voicemails requesting the information via email.

Business' Final Response /* (4000, 10, 2013/07/25) */

As of July 30, 2013 copies of all charges and the remainder of his retainer refund amount will be credited to [redacted]'s credit card.

Review: On 6/11/2014, I paid $1,170.00 to frinvestigations under the agreement that they would do some research on my ex-husband. At the time of my divorce a few years past, there was a significant amount of money that had disappeared from our joint accounts. I hired frinvestigations to look for that money. I was told that the turn around time for the report would be 4 - 6 weeks later. On 10/28/2014 I was told that the report they got was not what they had ordered and had to reorder it. I still have not heard anything. It is now 2/8/2015... just 3 days shy of 8 months later. I want to cancel this order and get a full refund.Desired Settlement: A full refund.

Ms. [redacted] is a long time client and is regarded as reliable and honorable.Ms. [redacted] asked for a specialty asset search from FRInvestigations. Our vendor was having difficulty in obtaining the information requested.Emails were sent to Ms. [redacted].Up until my retirement in early 2015, I was in contact with the vendor. They assured me they were working on the project. The request was extraordinary.I was remiss in sending Ms. [redacted] my new email and should have followed up with her immediately upon my partner's and my decision to retiure. He is turn also retired thus having our web site shut down.Ms. [redacted] shall receive a refund less costs incurred on the 15th of this month April 2015.I need to have my vendor cease the search and bill out what the search cost to date.Ms. [redacted]'s initial retainer was $1500.00. I estimate a cost of $300 dollars but will have a more detailed invoice on the 15th.[redacted]

Review: [redacted]I am rejecting this response because:I take exception to [redacted]' statement that I have received status reports from her regarding the search. I have not heard anything from her after the first two months of the investigation. I was told the search would take 8 - 10 weeks for a response. It has now been almost one year and still no report. Furthermore, I have not received a response from [redacted] since January 20, 2015 when she claimed she "would get back to me tomorrow".I will not accept the response until I get a check from her and that check has cleared. I also disagree that I owe any "costs incurred so far". I did not agree (and would never have agreed) to sign up for an investigation that takes more than one year to complete. However, if that's the best I can do... I will accept a check for $1,500 - $300 = $1,200. Again... after I receive the check and that check clears.Sincerely,[redacted]

Review: [redacted]I am rejecting this response because: I did not receive a check in the mail. I will change this response to "accept" when a check arrives.Sincerely,[redacted]

Review: I hired a company to do an investigation and they never did. I paid them $500 And got nothing out of it. I asked some questions. He was short with me and told me I need to stop contacting him for awhile. They were a waste of time, rude and disrespectful to me. I dont have that kind of money and I felt they took advantage because they didnt even help me. They made mea parenting plan that was almost identical to the one that was in place that I didnt want. I want a refund.Desired Settlement: I want them to refund me my 500

[redacted] contacted our firm on November 4, 2013. At that time we discussed her case and the retainer amount of $1500. After 8 calls between her and this office, she finally decided to get started. On Nov. 19, 2013, two investigators met with [redacted] in the Auburn office. At that time the client was adamant that we do surveillance. We explained the process to her in detail. There were D/V issues with her ex emailing her directly. It was at this meeting that I accepted a down payment of $500 toward the requested retainer amount of $1500. On Nov. 30, 2013 I helped the client compose an email to her ex. On Dec. 3, 2013, I called the client. Client also wanted help with the parenting plan, which our paralegal did for her. We have a complete file of all phone calls, emails. Fact is, this client discontinued communications with this office without a single word about where the case was going. We will prepare an invoice for the client with all the details of services provided.
