Fatman's Pizza Reviews (3)

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
I do appreciate the fact he did replace one pizza.  I just wanted what we ordered.  We had to toss a full pizza away.  [redacted] is correct, I did not hear the young employee, but I did hear my son order the pizzas. He clearly stated all meats. All we wanted is what we ordered.  I actually would have continued going to this small business if the situation was satisfied.  I asked at the time for both pizza to be replaced, and I was told no, the owner stated very clearly "he will not lose any money".  I was stock from a owner that this one time he would not correct the situation and a regular customer.  I do understand just one person may not make a difference to his business, but I am asking for a refund.  I am sure his pizza is very good, and is well known in Apache Junction, but I was not a happy customer.  I am new to area, and was looking forward to a awesome pizza with my kids, but instead it turned into a hassle because of mis-understanding with the ordering.  As an owner, I believe it should have been taken of care this one time.  I am sorry if the owner feels I shouldn't have made a complaint, but I feel we didn't get what we ordered.  I tried to talk and work the situation out with the owner.  I am not asking for much, but just a refund.  This could have been resolved by replacing both pizza's. I am honest person, and wouldn't ask for anything if I didn't feel it wasn't right.  Again I am just asking for refund our money.
Regards,

Regards,

What a shock. This is the first time I've had to respond to the Revdex.com in 15 years in business in Apache Junction.First, let's start off by saying I heard my phone girl repeat the order to the customer. I heard her say two smog pizzas. I now understand that this was their first time ordering,...

and didn't know the names of our pizzas, but my employees know the difference between our smog, which is an acronym for sausage, mushroom, onion and green pepper and our meat lover. If her son had said all meat pizzas, there would have been no lack of communication. I questioned my phone girl, and she said he never said anything about all meat. Now, obviously, the mother was not on the phone upon ordering, and does not know exactly what was said. I was not on the phone either, so I don't know exactly what was said. I did tell the mother it sounds like a lack of communication on both parties. She wanted two new pizzas, and I said that's not really fair to me, so I told her I would remake one of her pizzas (of her choice) either the thin crust or the deep dish, free of charge. She told me she would be happy with that. I re-made a meat lover pizza, the son picked it up, and said thank you. I have no idea why they would contact you after I thought I had the situation resolved. She claims I became upset and said I wasn't going to lose any money. If that was the case, then why did I replace one of her pizzas at no cost?I do only give out my first name, as there is absolutely no reason to give out my last name over the phone.Thank you,[redacted]OwnerFatman's Pizza
