Review: I ordered a Houzer 70/30 sink from Faucet Stop. A few days later, the company contacted me to tell me that they hadn't had that sink in stock for 6 months, and offered to sell me the Houzer 80/20 sink, which was the last one of that size that they had in stock. I agreed to the new sized sink.I never received a bill of sale for the new sized sink, but my credit card was charged $618.78 instead of $565.62 for the original sink. The sink arrived in a very badly damaged box that appeared to have bounced around a warehouse for many months. That type of damage does not happen during less than 150 miles of shipping. The sink inside the box was badly scratched and bent. The sink accessories (2 bottom grids, a colander, and cutting board) arrived in a second box, with the box badly damaged, much the same as the first box containing the sink. The cutting board was damaged, and the two bottom grids, and the colander were the size of the original 70/30 sink that I ordered, not the 80/20 sink that I received.I took a number of pictures of both boxes and all items and sent the pictures to the returns department at their request. In my multiple emails to them, I asked for a full refund on all items; not just the sink. Instead of working with me to return the items in a timely fashion, they have caused me a great deal of aggravation and lost time, and I still have not been granted a refund; instead they keep trying to get me to keep the unusable items for a small discount, regardless of how many times I have told them that I do not want the items; I only want a refund. Finally, a few days ago, I was given a return authorization, but no shipping labels. After asking, and waiting a few days, I received one shipping label. When I inquired about the second, I was told that they were only granting the refund on the damaged sink, and not the rest of the items.I run a small construction business and this transaction has been a detriment to my customer receiving the sink, and to my business as a whole.Desired Settlement: I would like to receive a full refund for my purchase, and prepaid shipping labels provided by Faucet Stop for the items to be returned. After I receive the refund, I will send the items back to Faucet Stop, but no sooner than I am credited for the full refund.

Response:

To who it may concern

This letter is in regards to case ID [redacted], our records indicate customer received his kitchen a sink that was damaged in shipment the day he reported the issue we sent this customer a UPS call to have picked up. As the customer states in his complaint he wants a refund before he returns the merchandise and that is not our company policy, we explained to him as soon as we receive the items he will get a full refund. Our records indicate we sent the ups label to customer to return on 7/**/13 and gave to ups on 07/**/2013 and we received on 7/**/2013. We also show that he called his credit card company and they advised him to return and issued him his credit.

Sincerely,

Consumer

Response:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

I still have not received a refund for the items that I returned. I called and spoke with a customer service representative from Faucet Stop and explained that according to the tracking ID of the returned items, they had received and signed for the return on 7/**, and that on 8/* I still had not received a refund. The representative did not answer my questions and told me that he did not know when I would receive a refund.

I had asked for a refund credit from Faucet Stop before returning the merchandise because after failing to work with me to resolve the initial problem, I was afraid that Faucet Stop would not issue a refund even though I returned the damaged items. In the response from Faucet Stop, [redacted] acknowledges that I have been issued a credit from the credit card company of the card that was used to purchase the items. This credit is a conditional credit, which will be removed once Faucet Stop has processed the refund credit.

In order for the Revdex.com to appropriately process your response, you MUST answer the question above.

Sincerely,

Review: As virtually every complain here states, they charged me for a product and later contacted me to state they had the part on backorder and it would be shipped two weeks later. A month after my credit card was charged, I still received nothing in the way of communication or order fulfillment. When contacted, they were apologetic and insisted they had no idea how this happened and I would be refunded the shipping (which was nearly 50% of the cost of the order) and it would be sent next day air. A week later, the part was sent out using the slowest possible shipping method. 6 weeks later, I still have no part and given that every complaint here states the same thing, its quite clear that this "business" actually has NO stock and everything is just ordered from a foreign supplier at the time the consumer places the order with them. At best this is misleading at worst, it is fraud as the other complaints suggest.Desired Settlement: I require the refund of my shipping costs. I would like all of my money back considering how long it has taken, and its not clear if I will even get the correct part.

Review: On May **, 2014 I purchased

KINGSTON BRASS TWIN HANDLE BASIN FAUCET SET

Item Number: [redacted]

Finish: Polished Chrome

for $105.57 paid via PayPal

Order # [redacted]

The following Monday I found a message on my voicemail that the faucets were out of stock but would be arriving in a new shipment, and I should expect to receive them in about ten days (March **) and that they would send a tracking number when shipped. No tracking number, so on the **I called again. They told me the order would come in on Friday the [redacted] and be shipped overnight at that time with tracking number in email. Nothing happened, so late on the [redacted] I called again. This time I was told they would be shipped by mid-week which was April **with tracking number in email. Late on April **I called and was told the shipment arrived late, but they now had the faucets and would ship them no later than the **(today) with tracking number in email. On the **(today) I called and was initially told that the order was delayed and would not arrive to them until the end of the next week which directly contradicted what they had previously said. When I pointed this out, the guy put me on hold to look up my information. He never came back, so I called again. This time he tried to tell me that one of my items did not arrive, and I told him there was only one item ordered. He then went somewhere and came back to tell me that they did have the faucets which would be shipped today (the [redacted]), and I would receive a tracking number via email within the hour. No tracking number within the day, and when I called again, the answering service said to call back during regular business hours...except I was calling during regular business hours. These people are liars and thieves with an online business at [redacted]Desired Settlement: Have them arrested for fraud because that's exactly what this is. They are stealing under the guise of an internet business. My money should come back to me as I paid using PayPal.

Sincerely,

Review: I purchased two sink faucets sets from Faucet Stop. One of them wasn't compatible with my sink setup, so I tried to followup on their "Easy Return Procedure". There is no obvious telephone number to call on their web site for this type of return (only for damaged product). I eventually found a number and was on hold for a full day with no response. I called again the next day and finally was able to talk to a live body who agreed to send me a return authorization. It apparently was never sent, or at least I did not receive it. I can't face the thought of another day and a half on hold, but I don't want to take a $300+ loss on a faucet set that I am unable to use. They should not be allowed to prominently display "Hassle Free Returns" on their web site.Desired Settlement: Provide me with the promised return authorization and either improve their service, or remove the hassle free return guarantee on their web site.

Sincerely,

Review: I ordered bathroom hardware from faucetstop.com on April **, 2015, totaling $1,078.39. My order was never fulfilled and repeated attempts to contact have failed: phone call hangups, put on hold indefinitely, and non-response to emails.Desired Settlement: Since I have to source this hardware elsewhere, I would like a full refund.
