I am rejecting this response because:
A few Saturdays ago, I met with the Faulkner Subaru Manager, and they admitted that they should have never sold me the vehicle. It is disgraceful that a car lot would prey on a single mother to sell a defective vehicle and not accept the vehicle back. The Faulkner Subaru President made an offer (addressed in his letter) however I feel that this still falls short. Faulkner Subaru seems to be missing the point that I lost thousands of dollars because of their mistake. I am still losing valuable time in my busy life by having to contact the Revdex.com. I do not like contention, but in this case I felt I had no other remedy other than to ask the Revdex.com to intervene.
In order to rectify the situation, Faulkner Subaru offered to sell me a new Subaru and give me $6,000 towards that purchase as a trade-in value. The $6,000 will not cover what I still owe on the current car, so I will have to roll an additional $2050 into the loan amount to pay off the car that has caused this whole problem. This is unacceptable.

At this point the car has cost me well over $5,000; I have paid close to $2,000 dollars in repairs, including new tires, and I have had to take time off of work without pay to deal with the issues. Additionally, I am out the $1,000 down payment I put on the vehicle and over $2,000 in monthly payments - is this correct?. Offering me a chance to spend money on a new vehicle AND pay an additional $2050 to make up the difference in the loan they will pay off is not a sustainable solution for me. I am a single parent on a limited income, and an any additional payments affect my bottom line.
Below is a general breakdown of my repair history of the last year. I have attached a repair history and I sent Doug this invoice compilation a few months ago.
Honda diagnosis of problems: $100
Warranty my share for power steering repair: $100
wind shield wipers (did not remove rain as they came on the vehicle): $60.00
tires, alignment, removal of "gum" on sensor that came with vehicle: $700.00
gas sensor: $400
AC switch (AC not working at all when I purchased the car): $100
brakes (squealed and grabbed when I purchased the car): $200
spare tire (car came with no spare tire): $150.00
tire jack (no jack for tire with car purchase): $50.00
Freon AC: $100.00
Warranty my share for alternator/battery: $100.00
headlight oxidation treatment (headlight visibility poor with purchase of car): $120
range relay $268 (though Honda reimbursed me because they had to re-do the work several times).
This adds up to roughly $2,180. In addition I had to be towed once, I had to miss an important required work event due to the range relay issue going on for months, the kids and I had to cancel a vacation to State College, and I lost a few days of leave with the car in the shop or having to take it to various needed apppointments.
In light of this, I would like Faulkner Subaru to.:
•Pay off the existing loan on the [redacted] ($8,050 as of 01/20/2018)
•Reimburse me the $1,000 I paid as a down payment so that I can use the money to put a down payment on a new vehicle.
•This would be a total payment of $9,050
Since I will likely keep the car a long time, I would also consider reimbursement in the form of a package upgrade. After test driving the car, I think I would prefer the package that comes with power driver's seat, roof rack and panoramic sun roof. I also told Doug I would consider accepting reimbursement in the form of a warranty if he will not allow my above request (bullet items).
Between the $2,000+ I have made in monthly payments and the almost $2,000 in repairs, plus the amount of money I have lost in wages, this more than compensates for the use of the car during the time I have owned it. In fact, I am still out thousands of dollars as a result of this transaction.
I hope that you will be able to help me resolve this situation.
Respectfully,
[redacted]

[redacted],l'm writing in response to the letter you sent us concerning [redacted]. On January 31, 2017, [redacted] purchased a 2007 [redacted] for $8393.00 with 134,905 miles on it. When we originally traded the [redacted], as we do with all of our retail trade-ins, we have...

our technicians perform a complete check out on all retail pre-owned vehicles, our technician did acomplete used car check and performed the following: state inspection, all fluids changed, rear strut and front brakes, even/thing checked out for state inspection, even though this vehicle was sold “as is" because of the year and miles at Faulkner we always check our used vehicles for safety and if we retail the vehicle we replace and/or repair what the technician tells us and because we serviced the [redacted] we were able to sell [redacted] an additional service contractwhich she agreed to buy.In February 2017 [redacted] was hearing a noise coming from the steering, it did need a power steering pump which was fixed and it was covered under her extended service contract. On October 16th, 2017 [redacted] emailed me asking for some help because of some issues she was having With the [redacted], she mentioned she had to spend some money to fix some items and currently is having some issues with the van. I told her that I would be happy to help her. I suggested that instead of continuing putting money into her van that I would trade her out of the [redacted], she was happy with that and said she would come in and talk to me. We set up a few different appointments, but [redacted] got busy and was unable to make it into the dealership which is totally understandable knowing that we all have very busy schedules.[redacted] was finally able to come in to the dealership and meet with me on January 2018, she came into my office and we had a great discussion and I told her I was going to help her out and give her a great deal on a new Subaru [redacted] and also give her a way above [redacted] Blue Book trade in value, after about a 30 minute very positive discussion I told appraised the 2907 [redacted] and when l came back in I told [redacted] I would give her $6000.00 for her [redacted] against any vehicle she wanted to buy from us new or used. We were working figures on a 2018 Subaru [redacted] because that's what she picked out.[redacted] was not happy with the trade in value, as I told her the true trade in value of her 2607 [redacted] with 148,888 miles on it was approximately $3000, but since she was having some issues with it and I really wanted to help her out I gave her double the amount of the current market value of $6000. I told her that in January 2017 she paid $8393.00 for the [redacted] and that $6000 trade in value a year later was a great trade in amount and $3000 more than the value of the van. [redacted] told me she wanted what she paid for the [redacted] in January 2017 which was $8393.00, I told her I couldn't give her any more than the $6000.00 and that I was really trying to help her out giving her $6000 for her trade. We did talk for another 15-20 minutes about payments and financing, we left my office and went outside and looked at some used Subaru”s as well. I must say I was surprised to receive your letter because although I know [redacted] was not completely satisfied with her trade allowance, we had a good conversation and when she left she said she would think about it and let me know. She also did say to me she was glad she had the extended service contract on the [redacted]because a few things were covered by the contract.I would be happy to continue to work with [redacted] to try to get her to the monthly payment that she wants by looking at some pre-owned Subaru [redacted], actually that's what I thought was going to happen before 2 got this letter, at Faulkner we will always try our best to resolve any customer situation and that's exactly what I did in this caseThanksDoug J[redacted]President Faulkner Subaru Harrísburg
