After reading Ms [redacted] 's complaint I am truly amazed and have come tot he conclusion that she looks for ways to get things replaced at no charge to herThe way a crock pot gets a dent in it is a simple answer; when things are placed in trash cans, trash bags and moved without boxes that unfortunately is what happens I will attempt to address her complaints one by one Yes her team was late due to car problems which is an unforeseeable issue and as I was out of town myself I was not there to get the team to her; once they had secured alternate transportation they were one the way quickly Once the team arrived they picked up Ms [redacted] 's truck at the specified location and followed her to the loading site and proceeded to load her belonging's into the truck She had scheduled hours to pack and hours to load which exceeded the time she had arranged for, my team provided her packing and loading service at no charge to her after her time had run out The truck she reserved was too small for her needs but my team leader said she choose to load and use the truck she had gotten in lieu of switching out after it was half loaded The team loaded the truck to her wishes in the manner in which she had provided; trash cans, trash bags, loose items, limited furniture protection by the way of packing blankets (only were gotten) and materials There were picture frames, loose wooden furniture, patio items, books, potted plants etc., that were not protected by any wrapping materials whatsoever The truck was so loaded that items had placed under furniture and in between other items as there was limited space available, all this was done with Ms [redacted] being made aware The agreement specified she would be responsible for two nights lodging for the moving team which was not needed due the team staying at their homes the night of the pack and load (getting in well after 9pm cdt) The team and myself met at our office location at 4am CDT to discover the truck that had been loaded now had a flat rear tire; I called roadside assistance and made the necessary arrangements to have the truck repaired I called for assistance on the tire matter around 415am and roadside assistance arrived at approximately 615-am CDT Once the truck was safe to drive the team and myself proceeded to Ms [redacted] 's destination The flat tire and repairs are documented by U-Haul so to imply anything to the contrary is absurd After Ms [redacted] complained things were going slowly with one of the team I replaced that member with another so there wouldn't be any further issues in that area We did arrive at the destination at approximately 4pm CDT and started unloading immediately as Ms [redacted] commented she would like to stay in her place that night We unloaded the truck and even set up some of her furniture and connected her washing machine which by the way we do not do and I explained that to her, after her commenting "then how am I supposed to that? and "you have probably done this a hundred times" so with that being said and as a courtesy to her we did make the exception We completed unloading the truck in a little over two and a half hours; while she contracted for a three hour unload she was more than compensated for the time by the team putting her furniture together, placing it and moving it to her specifications before I finally said it was time for us to pack it in and leave; with that she still wanted us to do more and stay longer to unpack I told her that we driving back and would not the time but did remind her of the lodging agreement and ask if she would to purchase more time and get rooms for the night for the team; she declined, we packed up, had our first meal of the day and headed home For the scratches on the furniture I stand by what I originally said regarding using stain to cover the scratches (I have done so many times on my own furniture and belongings and they look fine), no "gouges" were mentioned nor shown before we left the site With the picture frames being scratched, they were unprotected (unwrapped) in the move and I am sure they shifted around while on the road and again nothing was said until now regarding them, they very well may have had scratches prior to the move While it is tragic that things get damaged in moves it is the reality of the beast, things do occur beyond control of anyone We handled Ms [redacted] 's belonging's with respect and care as if they were our own Booking directly with me as opposed to booking on-line is what made it possible for Ms [redacted] to get that extra time that she wasn't charged for otherwise there would have been additional time and charges involved for the extra time on the pack and loading part of her relocation On the topic of attaching mirrors, re-arranging furniture, placing items around.....we gave the three hours for which Ms [redacted] contracted and assisted in far more than unloading a truck While I sympathize with Ms [redacted] and her concerns, things in transit do shift and move; not discounting her belonging's by no stretch of the imagination but to remind it was not brand new things, there were scratches, bumps, dings and other imperfections with her belonging's I am sorry she is unhappy but I also feel she is looking for someone to buy and replace her belonging's which I have no intentions of doing, I will however purchase her a new crock pot providing the old, dented one is shipped to me at my store location My business, my employees and myself go way beyond in taking care of our customers in every arena that we participate in; the loading service is just a small part of my business but everyone of my customer's are treated well, fairly and with the utmost respect! I have many positive reviews from our clients stating that as well! I wish Ms [redacted] the best in her new position and her new home and hope all goes well for her, but, I am not purchasing or repairing furniture that already had imperfections I have no further comments regarding this complaint but if the Revdex.com would like to call, chat and re-visit this issue I would be welcome to discussion; otherwise I consider this matter closed

After reading Ms. [redacted]'s complaint I am truly amazed and have come tot he conclusion that she looks for ways to get things replaced at no charge to her. The way a crock pot gets a dent in it is a simple answer; when things are placed in trash cans, trash bags and moved without boxes that...

unfortunately is what happens.
I will attempt to address her complaints one by one.  Yes her team was late due to car problems which is an unforeseeable issue and as I was out of town myself I was not there to get the team to her; once they had secured alternate transportation they were one the way quickly.  Once the team arrived they picked up Ms. [redacted]'s truck at the specified location and followed her to the loading site and proceeded to load her belonging's into the truck.  She had scheduled 3 hours to pack and 3 hours to load which exceeded the time she had arranged for, my team provided her packing and loading service at no charge to her after her time had run out.  The truck she reserved was too small for her needs but my team leader said she choose to load and use the truck she had gotten in lieu of switching out after it was half loaded.  The team loaded the truck to her wishes in the manner in which she had provided; trash cans, trash bags, loose items, limited furniture protection by the way of packing blankets (only 12 were gotten) and materials.  There were picture frames, loose wooden furniture, patio items, books, potted plants etc., that were not protected by any wrapping materials whatsoever.  The truck was so loaded that items had placed under furniture and in between other items as there was limited space available, all this was done with Ms. [redacted] being made aware.
The agreement specified she would be responsible for two nights lodging for the moving team which was not needed due the team staying at their homes the night of the pack and load (getting in well after 9pm cdt).  The team and myself met at our office location at 4am CDT to discover the truck that had been loaded now had a flat rear tire; I called roadside assistance and made the necessary arrangements to have the truck repaired.  I called for assistance on the tire matter around 415am and roadside assistance arrived at approximately 615-630 am CDT.  Once the truck was safe to drive the team and myself proceeded to Ms. [redacted]'s destination.  The flat tire and repairs are documented by U-Haul so to imply anything to the contrary is absurd.
After Ms. [redacted] complained things were going slowly with one of the team I replaced that member with another so there wouldn't be any further issues in that area.  We did arrive at the destination at approximately 4pm CDT and started unloading immediately as Ms. [redacted] commented she would like to stay in her place that night.  We unloaded the truck and even set up some of her furniture and connected her washing machine which by the way we do not do and I explained that to her, after her commenting "then how am I supposed to that? and "you have probably done this a hundred times" so with that being said and as a courtesy to her we did make the exception.  We completed unloading the truck in a little over two and a half hours;  while she contracted for a three hour unload she was more than compensated for the time by the team putting her furniture together, placing it and moving it to her specifications before I finally said it was time for us to pack it in and leave; with that she still wanted us to do more and stay longer to unpack.  I told her that we driving back and would not the time but did remind her of the lodging agreement and ask if she would to purchase more time and get rooms for the night for the team; she declined, we packed up, had our first meal of the day and headed home.
For the scratches on the furniture I stand by what I originally said regarding using stain to cover the scratches (I have done so many times on my own furniture and belongings and they look fine), no "gouges" were mentioned nor shown before we left the site.  With the picture frames being scratched, they were unprotected (unwrapped) in the move and I am sure they shifted around while on the road and again nothing was said until now regarding them, they very well may have had scratches prior to the move.  While it is tragic that things get damaged in moves it is the reality of the beast, things do occur beyond control of anyone.  We handled Ms. [redacted]'s belonging's with respect and care as if they were our own.
Booking directly with me as opposed to booking on-line is what made it possible for Ms. [redacted] to get that extra time that she wasn't charged for otherwise there would have been additional time and charges involved for the extra time on the pack and loading part of her relocation.  On the topic of attaching mirrors, re-arranging furniture, placing items around.....we gave the three hours for which Ms. [redacted] contracted and assisted in far more than unloading a truck.
While I sympathize with Ms. [redacted] and her concerns, things in transit do shift and move; not discounting her belonging's by no stretch of the imagination but to remind it was not brand new things, there were scratches, bumps, dings and other imperfections with her belonging's.  I am sorry she is unhappy but I also feel she is looking for someone to buy and replace her belonging's which I have no intentions of doing, I will however purchase her a new crock pot providing the old, dented one is shipped to me at my store location.
My business, my employees and myself go way beyond in taking care of our customers in every arena that we participate in; the loading service is just a small part of my business but everyone of my customer's are treated well, fairly and with the utmost respect!  I have many positive reviews from our clients stating that as well!  I wish Ms. [redacted] the best in her new position and her new home and hope all goes well for her, but, I am not purchasing or repairing furniture that already had imperfections.
I have no further comments regarding this complaint but if the Revdex.com would like to call, chat and re-visit this issue I would be welcome to discussion; otherwise I consider this matter closed.
