Madison Swim Academy's Late Policy has been in place since the beginning of last year and is commonly used within the industry. The policy states that MSA encourages every family to have a valid credit card on file. Families that choose not to place a credit card on file will incur a $
monthly fee in addition to tuition. The purpose of this policy is to assist families in avoiding a late fee. If a family opts out of auto pay, the card on file will never be charged unless tuition is unpaid by the 2nd of the month. Many families use this as a safety net if they forget to pay their tuition by the 1st of the month. This policy is not intended to get credit card information from customers and is only used as a convenient back up. If this particular customer always pays by check on time, their credit card is NEVER charged and it merely serves as a back up. If they absolutely don't want their credit card on file or do not have a credit card, they can opt out entirely and incur the $monthly fee. Some customers chose this route which is completely fine. The $fee is to cover MSA's additional administrative costs required to follow up on late payments. We are sorry that this customer disagrees with our Late Fee Policy and it is never our intention to cause distress. Our goal is to maintain and disclose our policies in order to run a successful business with satisfied customers.Thank you,*** ***

As stated in our previous response, our policy is to encourage and facilitate the monthly payment process on everyone's end.  If it helps for you to look at the policy from a different perspective and instead of a $5 penalty for not keeping your credit card on file...there is a $5 discount to the families that do.
