Dear Revdex.com of Utah - please immediately remove this complaint against FCSWhile Mr [redacted] 's concerns are valid and important to resolve, the complaints are against his homeowners association, Villas at Maplewood Groves Homeowners Association ("VMWG")His complaint should actually read: "VMWG sent us vague notices to comply with community rulesThose notices were likely form lettersAfter receiving them we did everything we could think of to comply! Recently they issued us a fine and then randomly withdrew the money without giving us any notice they were doing so which caused an overdraft on our checking accountTurns out the reason for fining us was because my pregnant wife put a sack of garbage on our balcony for me to take out when I arrived home from workShe is months pregnant andEven told by her doctor to stay off her feetTo take the trash to the nearest dumpster she has to go down the stairs and walk yards to itI believe it's well within our right to set a sack of garbage on our balcony under those circumstancesBut VMWG doesn't see it that wayThere is also a double standardVMWG does not fulfill their responsibilities or follow their own rules! They hire people to do things in the community that leave huge messesThey don't replace light bulbs in community lightingThey claim our common area has been cleanedIt has not! VMWG is not doing business with those they claim to serve in an ethical, compassionate, or respectful manorIt is beyond disappointingIt has also negatively affected usThey had no right or permission to take money from our account with out notifying us they would be making the withdrawal and when they intended to do so!" FCS is contracted with the VMWG and has no independent decision making authorityVMWG sets the community rules, completes the inspections, and withdraws funds, per the agreement signed by Mr [redacted] VMWG determines what is appropriate or not appropriate, not FCSVMWG hires the contractorsVMWG has reviewed the [redacted] 's situation, made a one-time exception to their rule, and has removed the fine (leaving a credit on their account)Mr [redacted] should discontinue the AutoPay program provided by VMWG if he has concerns, as the program allows fines to be automatically withdrawn with association monthly feesShould Mr [redacted] have any questions about the relationship FCS has in regards to VMWG, he is welcome to call me, Michael J [redacted] , President of FCS Community Management, 385-695-If he has questions for VMWG, he should contact them directly

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me
Sincerely,
*** ***

Mr*** is correct that FCS Community Management manages his community, however, FCS is NOT "responsible for maintaining [or] fixing the outside of our houses." FCS does not have these responsibilities and all his community issues are the responsibility of his community's boardI have attached
the work order inputted by FCS on behalf of Mr*** on August 21stThe issue was promptly turned over to the community's contracted landscaper who promptly adjusted the sprinklersI am uncertain how the community handles the repair of the interior of units but will contact the boardThe board meets in the clubhouse the 3rd Tuesday of each month at p.m(signs are placed throughout the community several days in advance)Mr*** may forward any emails and questions directly to me michael.j***@hoaliving.com and I will communicate directly with him regarding the decision of the board (or community policy)Unfortunately there was a bit of turmoil in September as the community president, who handles all community maintenance issues, resigned and there is now new leadership

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:
Sincerely,
[redacted]The sprinkler issue was resolved, however the complaint is about customer service. The original work order was placed on 8/14 sent to [email protected] was no response, the second work order was sent directly through FCS' own webiste on 8/17 again no response.I called on 8/21 and they said they had received no work order request, I talked to Erin and she had me email her directly to place the work order. As of 8/27 there was no response to the work order so I emailed her again and she said she would look into it again but never responded after that. After multiple calls everyone said the work order was still open. I asked to speak to a manager and they said they were all busy. They then told me that the sprinklers were fixed and to contact the community manager Megan D[redacted]. I emailed her and she never responded. I contacted FCS again by phone and they said they couldn't help me, they refused to give me a phone number for Megan and refused to give me any contact info for the HOA themselves. You state the HOA was in turmoil in September but the work order was placed in August. After attending an HOA meeting the board is working on fixing the building issue, however several other home owners all said they had contacted the community manager Megan and none of them had received a single response from her, she was present at the meeting and simply stated "I'm working on it." If I failed to respond to my emails  and phone calls at work I would be terminated. The customer service is the real issue.

Even told by her doctor to stay off her feet. To take the trash to the nearest dumpster she has to go down the stairs and walk 150 yards to it. I believe it's well within our right to set a sack of garbage on our balcony under those circumstances. But VMWG doesn't see it that way. There is also a double standard. VMWG does not fulfill their responsibilities or follow their own rules! They hire people to do things in the community that leave huge messes. They don't replace light bulbs in community lighting. FCS is contracted with the VMWG and has no independent decision making authority. VMWG sets the community rules, completes the inspections, and withdraws funds, per the agreement signed by Mr. [redacted]. VMWG determines what is appropriate or not appropriate, not FCS. VMWG hires the contractors. VMWG has reviewed the [redacted]'s situation, made a one-time exception to their rule, and has removed the fine (leaving a credit on their account). Mr. [redacted] should discontinue the AutoPay program provided by VMWG if he has concerns, as the program allows fines to be automatically withdrawn with association monthly fees.
