In response to the customer’s complaint ID # [redacted] , We do offerhour service to our customersWe live in a rural area that andsuffer from limited cellular service in some locations that we travel in,if a message would have been left on my voicemail stating that theywere without heat, I would of been happy to return the call andperformed a service call for them.I have included the original invoice for the equipment, thisequipment was new from the supplier and not “refurbished” asstated in their complaintIt was an older piece of inventory at thesuppliers, it has a standard manufacturers warranty, and the supplierstill has parts available for this unit, I have spoke with the suppliersalesman recently to verify parts are still availableThis unit wouldnot have any style gas parts on it, the parts between a gas furnaceand an oil furnace are not interchangeableThe only item that cancover both gas and oil would be the fields power venter, if you checkthe model number of this power venter it is capable of doing both gasand oil systemsThe accusations of the unit being improperly wiredare concerning to me due to the fact that the system functionedproperly for one year and seven months without any issues.This is a very unfortunate situation for this family, if they wouldhave contacted us from the beginning of the problem, we would ofbeen happy to make the repairs for this systemIf parts weren’tavailable we would have discussed this issue with our supplier whowe have a great working relationship with and I know they would ofdone whatever they needed to, in order to make this situationcorrect, even if it meant them providing a unit at no costWe standbehind all of the equipment we install and all of our installations.Unfortunately when another contractor has worked on a piece ofequipment, we are not sure what may have been done to thisequipment and if it was done properly and according the themanufacturer’s specifications.Thank you,Delmont
