Thank you for following up on my complaint, ID [redacted]. Hava Tech has taken care of the problem described in my complaint, 
however, I have learned since the date of submitting the complaint that Hava Tech was required to get a permit to do the gas work and should have had it inspected by county officials.
They did not do either of those things. Maybe that is something that I can handle through [redacted] County code enforcement.

Review: Hava Tech Inc. incorrectly installed a new furnace and central air conditioning system in my home on June 13, 2014. The new unit does not have an internal air filter cage and the Hava Tech installer did not install an external filter box. Instead, upon returning to fix the problem, he tried to convince me to just cut a standard sized filter to fit into a slot that was cut out of my existing duct work. That idea is unacceptable and unprofessional, as it does not internally support the filter, a filter cannot be sealed within the air intake path, there is not a standard filter size on the market that fits this makeshift slot, and the manufacturer's warranty may be voided due to this improper installation. The Hava Tech management seems to agree that it is unacceptable and needs to be fixed; however, the issue has not been resolved despite my immediate and repeated notification of the problem. I have scheduled appointments with Hava Tech more than five (5) times for them to come and resolve the issue. To date, there have been three appointments that they did not keep. On each of those occasions, they did not arrive at my house and did not call me to tell me that they were not coming. I had to call and ask why they were not at my house and initiate the process of rescheduling myself. The most recent "no show" was on June 25, 2014. After calling to see why a technician had not arrived and explaining that I am taking time away from work every time I have an appointment with them, they told me that they could not come that day, but promised that they would call later that day after they confirmed the availability of parts, and would come to my house at 8:00 AM on June 26, 2014 if the parts were available. It is now 9:00 AM on June 26, 2014 and I have not received a telephone call or a home visit from Hava Tech. I see no end to this behavior or service problem.Desired Settlement: I would like Hava Tech to install a filter box on the air intake of my HVAC system. I need them to schedule a date when this will be done, and have them actually do it. If they do not want to do it or are not capable of doing it, I can get an estimate from another HVAC contractor and they can refund the cost to me so that I can get the work done.
