*** *** signed an agreement with our company on 11/1/2015, this was for months @ $per monthIn Feb the customer called to add a thermostat to her alarm system at that time Federal Alarms Informed her that there would be an increase in her Monthly Monitoring of $more a month
to open the Home Automation package so that she could control her thermostat with her application on her phoneWhen the technician got to the customers home and installed the thermostat he called our office and activated the home automation package which then raised her monthly monitoring to $per monthIn July of we were notified that *** had sold her home and was moving in with family, she explained that the new home owner wanted to sign an agreement with our company and keep the equipment in the homeWhen the technician called the new home owner he explained that he did not want to sign and did not want serviceWe then contacted *** and explained to her that we could not pull the entire system from the home since it was sold with the homeThe new home owner was kind enough to let us come in and get the keypad but not the thermostat and with her system being a hardwired system we could not pull the sensorsSo, with the hardwired system we gave her sensors to cover what we could not pull from her old residenceSince the buyer of her home would not let us take the thermostat we did invoice her for a new thermostat but after several emails back and forth we concluded to waive the cost of the thermostat ($80) to satisfy the customerAt which point we sent her a copy of her agreement and tried to resolve this complaint outside of the Revdex.comSince the customer is still under agreement with our company and has an outstanding balance of $for the system move, we are willing to take the amount of the $a month that the system was not installed in her family’s home (July 2017-Dec 8months @ $39.95=$319.60) off the end of her agreement that was signedWe will still be charging for the $system move which is less than the original quote of $per hour since the technician clocked a total hours

We have Explained to the customer and the Revdex.com of the extra $5 more a month and we have installed in the customers new residence at our cost: the keypad (previously installed in home), 9 door window contacts ($30 each) to cover the home, a thermostat that we covered the cost for ($80), and a motion detector ($60) all for no cost except for the $99 move. At this point we would like our equipment that was installed for free returned by the customer. The $99 fee owed for technician time, and a request to cancel service in writing with customers signature.  At which time we receive the letter, $99 payment and equipment we will be terminating all services.

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me. I will submit a letter in writing with the $99.00 service fee. You are welcome at any point to come and retrieve your equipment or I can remove it and ship it. If you choose to remove the equipment your selves please contact ###-###-####. If I do not hear word in a week I will remove the equipment myself.
Sincerely,
[redacted]

[redacted] signed an agreement with our company on 11/1/2015, this was for 60 months @ $34.95 per month. In Feb 2017 the customer called to add a thermostat to her alarm system at that time Federal Alarms Informed her that there would be an increase in her Monthly Monitoring of $5 more a month...

to open the Home Automation package so that she could control her thermostat with her application on her phone. When the technician got to the customers home and installed the thermostat he called our office and activated the home automation package which then raised her monthly monitoring to $39.95 per month. In July of 2017 we were notified that [redacted] had sold her home and was moving in with family, she explained that the new home owner wanted to sign an agreement with our company and keep the equipment in the home. When the technician called the new home owner he explained that he did not want to sign and did not want service. We then contacted [redacted] and explained to her that we could not pull the entire system from the home since it was sold with the home. The new home owner was kind enough to let us come in and get the keypad but not the thermostat and with her system being a hardwired system we could not pull the sensors. So, with the hardwired system we gave her 10 sensors to cover what we could not pull from her old residence. Since the buyer of her home would not let us take the thermostat we did invoice her for a new thermostat but after several emails back and forth we concluded to waive the cost of the thermostat ($80) to satisfy the customer. At which point we sent her a copy of her agreement and tried to resolve this complaint outside of the Revdex.com. Since the customer is still under agreement with our company and has an outstanding balance of $99 for the system move, we are willing to take the amount of the $39.95 a month that the system was not installed in her family’s home (July 2017-Dec 2017 8months @ $39.95=$319.60) off the end of her agreement that was signed. We will still be charging for the $99 system move which is less than the original quote of $50 per hour since the technician clocked a total 3.5 hours.
