Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: MrS [redacted] 's statement is mendacious and is analogous to how wife beaters blame the wife for his physical assault against her: "SHE MADE ME HIT HER!" In fact, he proved my point that it is unfair to issue refunds to OUT-OF-STATE customers, but not to LOCAL customersIf he is allowed to do so, then it is an indictment against Washington's consumer laws and that other ststes have laws that would NOT allow him to cheat their consumers Fair business dealing and equal treatment towards ALL CUSTOMERS mean that Washington IN-STORE RETAIL customers should be entitled to the same REFUND POLICY as OUT-OF-STATE customersIf he were an honorable veteran, he would NOT allow a minor refund issue tarnish his A+Revdex.com ratingUnlike Henry's twisted, version of our conversation, I did state emphatically that his refusal to issue a refund was analogous to a [redacted] immigrant way of doing business because, in my experience, they sell inferior products that break down and, like Henry, won't issue a refund[Aside: I had a temporary assignment where the American business had to absorb the costs of inferior, broken [redacted] goods that were returned for refunds because the [redacted] refusedThe returns were massive.] Therefore, my statement, as an African American, is not race-based, but based on fact and empirical experienceI've purchased another duffle bag from [redacted] , but I still want a refund because that's the proper way to do business when a customer is dissatisfied with a purchase in Washington and in AMERICA! This is the real reason why "big box" [online] retailers like [redacted] and [redacted] swallow up "mom and pop" stores like Henry's-- they allow dissatisfied customers to return products for refundsIf Henry had not unprofessionally and angrily hung up on me, I would have accepted the alternative option of in-store creditThe products in the store is any former military person's dream, but I don't want to patronize this business ever again As a 61-year old African American female who know and feel racism when it rears its ugly head, to make a real race-based comment, I don't patronize businesses or business people like Henry who dismissively, arrogantly, and impudently treat me, my money or my business like a [redacted] ! To his credit, his response and refund refusal is indicative of providing me with the royal [redacted] treatmentSince he wants to play the "race card" as his ONLY asinine defense, I'll pull the tRump card as the only logical explanation as to why he adamantly refuses a refund [pun intended].This should not be a military macho male versus a female impasse or standoff, but a legal and business matter that pertains to fair dealing and an equal refund policy to online, mail order, and especially LOCAL IN-STORE customersI will return this dead soldier's [read: bad karma, which is a revered Asian philosophical concept] duffle bag back to Henry for a REFUND[Aside: Why doesn't the U.Sgovernment return these bags to the dead soldier's families for sentimental purposes?]If he refuses a refund, I will leave the bag at his store's doorstep so that any had karma will be on his head, not mine! Sincerely, [redacted] ***
