I have reviewed the response offer made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

To whom it may concern- [redacted] brought her dog [redacted] into our hospital for suspicion of having eaten some sewing needles. All of the phone communication prior to the visit was with Mrs. [redacted]'s husband, not her. He was told that there was an $86 fee to be seen at our facility, and all...

other treatments and diagnostics were additional. We have confirmation of this in our phone records, and can supply if needed. All patients that are seen at our facility must have an exam before providing any services. This is told to every person who calls us, as well as what the cost of the exam will be. We make a record of every phone conversation for exactly this reason. I can only assume that this information was not conveyed from the husband to the wife and that she was not made aware of this fact until she arrived.
