Purchased a Summit fridge that failed exactly 5 years later. I have an extended warranty but Summit won't provide a service doc (needed by credit card) that matches what they said to me in writing (compressor is issue and it is non-repairable). They are just trying to sell me a discounted fridge.
Case#’s 797250 & 789552. My new Summit oven died after only 3 months of working. First I ordered a new igniter part but that did not get the oven cooking. So I ordered and received a new thermostat part but I still have not any luck igniting the oven. So sad. I’ve had two different appliance repair companies and the gas company come out here and no one can get this thing going.
I know this model oven is pretty simple… It has a thermostat, an igniter and a safety valve. Basic. But for some reason my oven just does not want to work anymore. The service man tested the igniter and it was good and he tested the safety valve and it was good and I have installed the new thermostat so we know that is good but the oven just will not turn on and heat up. I do not smell any gas going to it which is a good thing because that means the safety valve is working correctly. Anyway it looks like I’m stuck here now and my wife is pissed off because Thanksgiving is coming up quick. Thank goodness we have a Traeger grill and as long as it’s not raining outside we’ll be able to cook on that. I’m leaving a review right now on goggle and I am going to make sure they know how good of a job you and Service and parts and all the people over there do but the oven is still broken and and my budget for has run dry.
