Our initial service call the following items were tested and these were the results:
Igniter - ohms ( as long as this test under ohms everything is fine within spec) This was tested in October / part failed in December
Run capacitor -
FS -
Inducer motor -
amps
Blower amps
Gas pressure - 3.4"
The charge to replace the igniter "includes Labor" We are on a flat rate system that is based on national averages for time / materials

Then what is the purpose of having annual maintenance inspection if unable to determine faulty parts? Is a charge of $reasonable if you are unable to find problems?
As far as charging a "flat rate" for labor, this is not listed on either the annual maintenance invoice or on the invoice to replace the igniter switch, but rather bundled into only a single dollar amount, and I was not quoted a price or estimate of cost until after the work was done. Seriously, is $a reasonable amount to charge for simply swapping out a small igniter switch that took about two minutes? I was clearly told that this very high price was because the igniter switch was so "spendy". I sincerely feel over charged. $for a preventative maintenance inspection and then another $because you had to return to fix a part that was not discovered to be bad seems unreasonable.Sincerely,*** ***
