We used Fellowship Travel for of our mission trips to [redacted] in We accidentally determined that they were charging us higher ticketing fees than what we could get going directly with the airlineThis would not be of concern, but they advertise on their website that they offer discounted rates and I quote "FTI holds private retail, student & non-profit contracts with 30+ international airlinesThese contracts enable us to offer both discounted airfare & flexible terms." They are taking advantage of churches and not holding true to what they advertiseOur tickets were $75-$less per person each of our trips and we have 10-travelers per tripThis overage adds up quicklyAdditionally, we had an issue with being charged baggage fees for our last trip of the year and they did very little to try and recoup those fees for us, their clientI was advised by their group travel agent that if I wanted to push the airline further I could go to their customer care linkI called the airline and within minutes found out we should NOT have been charged baggage fees and how to submit a request for the refundThis should have been handled by those representing usThey will also charge you for things the airlines do not (specifically first time name changes)Their contract states "All fees & penalties assessed by the airline for name changes/corrections are the responsibility of the individual ticket holder &/or the group organizer who provided the final name list."The airline does not charge for this if it is outside hours of departure
