Dear Ms [redacted] This letter is in response to complaint # [redacted] submitted on May 14,Stumpf Moving & Storage received a signed Estimated Cost of Services form and a deposit for moving services in the amount of $from [redacted] on April 5, She was put on our schedule for a local move on April 27, 2016,On April 19, 2016, Ms [redacted] called our office to cancel her moveA check for a refund of her deposit was made out to her in the amount of $on April 26,and put in the mail at the end of the work dayThe check was sent to the address we had on file for herOver the next couple of weeks, Ms [redacted] called several times asking where her check wasI did not know why she hadn’t received itI checked with our bank and found it had not been cashedMy assumption was that it went to the wrong addressHowever, Ms [redacted] did confirm the address I used was correct in one of our phone callsI was still trying to figure out why she hadn't received it and hoped it would come back to us.On May 17, 2016, the check was indeed returned to us by the post office as undeliverableI called her upon receiving the returned check and left a messageI did not hear back from her and called her again today, May 20, to again confirm the address before resending itThis time she did answer her phone and told me she preferred not to give me her address and said she would pick the check up on Monday, May 23, at 8:00am.You can imagine my surprise when I opened the Revdex.com complaint today! I have enclosed a copy of the check that was made out to [redacted] on April 26, as well as a copy of the envelope stamped April 27, with a return to sender label.Please consider this response as our position on handling the returned deposit in a timely mannerSincerely,

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , the company has not fully disclosed everything.The worker that states that she contacted me, only works part-time, and I left numerous messages trying to get an understanding of why the check was not received My messages were not returned, and of course there was another excuse as to why they did not return them It was not until they received the complaint from Revdex.com that they notified me and said that the check magically appeared at their office I did confirm that the address was correct when I made the initial call to the organization Betty, informed me that she would contact the bank and post office that day I waited another week and did not hear from the organization and left multiple messages, again I made a final call, spoke with the extremely rude manager and was told that they would not send me a check and that I can do whatever I wanted to do I told Betty this when she finally called me (after she received the letter from Revdex.com) and she again gave me another sugarcoated answer about the disappearance of my check I did not trust the delivery methods of the organization, so I decided to pick up the check at 9:AM the following Monday And of course, Betty was not there.Thank you! A check for a refund of her deposit was made out to her in the amount of $99.80 on April 26,2016 and put in the mail at the end of the work day. I checked with our bank and found it had not been cashed. My assumption was that it went to the wrong address.
