Worst shopping experience ever. Lying staff.
I filled out forms and documents in store last Wednesday in order to purchase a firearm. However, after three business days waiting, I hear nothing back. So I called the store to ask if my firearm is ready to pick up. Then I was told by the female staff that I can come over.
So I drove there and the female staff told me I failed the background check and my Visa expired. I was surprised because I have no criminal record and my Visa is valid. Then I found out that the female staff scanned my previous expired visa to the owner Mrs. Maria. Then they said they would not sell the firearm to me and refunded the deposit except the $7 background check fee.
After I left the store, I searched online and found out that I can challenge a background denial within 60 days. So I went back to the store to ask them if they can help me submit an appeal for the denied case. However, the male staff said they could do nothing but I could try to talk with the owner. When I asked him if the owner would be in store tomorrow, the staff said MAYBE with a dismissive tone.
Today I came back again with my passport and showed the owner Mrs. Maria that my valid Visa is right there on my passport. That's not my fault to submit an invalid document, but her worker made a mistake when she scanned my papers.
The most ridiculous thing is that the owner Mrs. Maria told me that actually I DIDN'T fail my background check. She made the decision of not selling firearm to me based on my expired Visa. Even if I presented the valid Visa to her now, she would not change her decision.
I was so angry to hear the truth. The female staff just lied to me yesterday! And the male staff also helped her to hide the truth! I asked the owner to refund my background check fee back because they were wasting my time and they were not being honest to customers.
Then Mrs. Maria refunded me the $7 and walked in her office. I don't want to just leave after being cheated so I stood there for 3 minutes waiting for her to come out. Then I asked her if she would like to say something about her staff's wrong behavior, she finally said sorry while she was still making excuses for her staff.
I was so disappointed with the owner, the staff, and the whole store. They lied to customer, didn't admit their mistake, and would not apologize if I didn't insist.
If that's the way they do business, I would not recommend it to anyone. Honesty and respect are the principle rule for a merchant, but sadly this store lacks the qualifications.
It's not you denied my purchase request because I will not spend my money in such a dishonest store.

During the whole transaction, I did not do anything wrong except finding your staff's mistake. I was polite all the time even when I knew your staff lied to me. As a owner of a business, you should not be aggressive and angry to a customer. Your staff is the one who is to blame for her fault, not me.
I'm disappointed not because you didn't sell firearms to me, but because of all the actions you took against me. Your staff lied to me, you didn't feel sorry, and you even called the police to investigate me for no reason. I'm glad I didn't buy anything from you and please stop disturbing my life.
I asked the police officer if I could leave an negative review for you and she said I have every right to write a true review. So please don't blame me for the negative review. Thank you.
