Afternoon ***,This email is in reference to [redacted] .I'm not quite sure why [redacted] is unhappy We delivered yards of BRA mulch and yards of turkey compost to her as she requested When it was delivered she was happy with it Then she calls and tells us that she is not happy, that we did not deliver what she wanted She did confirm in that conversation that she did order the mulch and compost She goes on to say that she wanted "screened turkey compost", although, she did not order "screened" We do not carry screened compost, never have We only offer farm fresh product.At that time, we offered her a refund on the cost of the turkey compost She refused If she was unhappy, why did she refuse? We didn't hear anything else from herNow, she has contacted you and is unhappy again I have tried to reason with her and I have tried to be nice There is no reasoning with [redacted] .Now that she has screened it herself and is using the product, she decides that she does want a refund after all She has even gone as far as sending me certified letters demanding a refund.All I know is that we did not in any way misrepresent our productI understand that she assumed all compost was screened and that is why I offered her a refund on the compost She refused Now she has decided she wants to keep the material and get a refund I just don't see why after she didn't want her money back, now she does.We do everything in our power to make sure that our customers are happy and that they become repeat customers.Please let me know if you have any questions or would like to speak with me regarding this situationThank you for contacting us We appreciate your business If we can be of anymore assistance to you, please let us knowHave a nice day[redacted]

I am rejecting this response because:It is not an accurate representation of the facts. When I first spoke with *** ***, I told him I needed to put the compost directly on what had been a lawn that I was converting to a xeriscape gardenHe never told me the compost wasn't screened(You can see on Google reviews that another customer was as unhappy with receiving unscreened material as I was.) I spoke with two compost retailers who said it is customary to sell only screened compostI have their names and phone numbers. I am attaching tow photosThe first is a close view of the clodsThe second shows the three tubs of clods I removed from one fourth of the compost-- the remaining unscreened pile shown in background. I did tell the truck driver who delivered the compost on Mar13th that he did a great job dumping it right where I wanted itThe pile had no obvious clods, as those fall to the bottomOnly when I began spreading it did I begin to find the clodsI immediately called *** *** and told him I wanted hi to come get the compostHe refusedHe did offer to refund me, and I did not accept, because then I had this huge amount of compost I needed to screen I have a text from him sent on Mar to "send me pictures (of the clods) and I will work on it and will set day to pick up another one sent the next morning"Checking to make sure u got text about pick up of materials." I sent him photos and then didn't hear from himI called him and he said the clods were to be expected and he wasn't picking up the compost or refunding me. I then left a comment about my experience on Google reviews of Cheaper than Dirt He left a comment a month ago:"I am truly sorry that you were not happy with the materials/service that you receivedIt is our goal to ensure that all of our customers are completely satisfied each and every time.Our offer for a 100% refund is still available to you at anytimeWe would also greatly appreciate the chance to earn your business back, should you ever need anything in the future." I emailed him and wrote I wanted that refund He did not respond.
