Customer had their fence installed in summer of In the quote/contract, it states the property owner is responsible to mark all property lines We installed the fence where we were told to install it (customer was present for installation), and the placement of the fence was approved A few months later, we received a call saying the fence needed to be moved and demanding that we do it for free of chargeWhen I tried to explain that we were not responsible for the placement of the fence and we would not be able to move the fence for free, the customer requested to talk to the owner Bob, the owner, then called the customer We would have to purchase new posts and concrete for the entire section of fence that needed to be moved along with the labor cost for our installers to reinstall the fence, but Bob offered to split the cost with her to try and work something out She was not accepting of that offer There is no other agreement that can be made on our part, so we have declined to do any further work for customer

It was the end of our season and we were running a bit behind because of the weather.  The customer decided to cancel her order because we were not getting the work done in the time frame that she had hoped.  The posts ordered were special ordered, and our contract also states...

deposits are non-refundable after the order is placed.  We still wanted to refund her deposit, but  were not able to get a refund for materials because they were special ordered.  We had to wait until we could use the materials before we could refund the money, and the customers deposit was returned on 5/1/2017.
