Review: We had a fence installed in our backyard in January 2013. We lost the heat in our home a week later. We called an electrician and it cost us $126.00 to find out there was nothing wrong inside our house. We called [redacted], per our electrician's suggestions, and they came to check it out. The fence company had nicked a wire and the cement they used leaked into the wire. It caused us to loose our heat. Our house was so cold we had frost on the inside of our windows. My husband lost a full day out of work because we had to wait to get the heat repaired. I wrote a letter to Fencing Unlimited and called them twice. The owner will not call me back. I was looking for the $126.00 back and possible reimbursement for the wages lost. I am at a lose as to what to do next.Desired Settlement: Would like the $126 and one days pay. I would also like the owner to have the decency to get back in touch with us.

Review: Fencing Unlimited installed a fence around the backyard of my house in 2013 and the gate does not close properly and several boards are warped. I have called on two separate occasions and cannot get them to fix my fence issues covered under the three year warranty. The last time I called I was told a work order would be initiated but they had no idea when they would come to my house to fix the issue. I was told the warped boards would straighten themselves out which is totally untrue. I just want the gate fixed so it will close properly and stay that way and the warped boards replaced.Desired Settlement: Gate fixed permanently and warped boards replaced.

We have dispatched a finish crew to address [redacted]s issues with his gates today August 8, 2014. The back of our contract has a very descriptive paragraph about the lumber and what is warrantied and what is not. We try to stay on top of our warrenty repairs, but this is our extremely busy season and it is sometimes hard to get some one out there to do the repairs. [redacted] was told that when the weather heats up and the humidity is very high that some times the boards do warp but they can also go back when it dries out some. But not always.

Our procedure for warranty repairs is to write up a repair ticket and pass it to shop for the foreman to pass out with the regular work when we are going to be in the area. The customer really does not need to be present for this repair as long as the repair ticket is detailed with the issues the customer is having. Our warranty does not cover warped boards, which again is described on the back of our contract. We have been using the same lumber mills for years and we have definitely noticed a decline in quality of the lumber that we receive from the mills in the last 10 years. This is just what is available in the market place these day.

Review: We paid over 3,000 in august of 2015 to get a wooden fence installed by this company. After installation the gate on the driveway side was perfect. Two weeks after that it was bowed at the bottom and would not shut without scraping the driveway. I called and was told they would come out when they guys that do repairs are in our area. Weeks later with no notice a few guys come in the rain, tell me that this happens when everything is settling. I told them I thought I deserved a new gate and they only would put a bottom latch on the fence.. Since then I have made multiple phone calls and they say the same thing every time... The crew will be out to fix it. I have asked to speak to higher

Management and not one person has ever returned my calls about this. I can see if this is years later. The fence is only 7 months old and the gate will not shut properly.Desired Settlement: I want a new fence installed. I do not want it "repaired" again . And I want the company to act professional and get back to me to get this replaced.

Review: The fence they installed is still with in the warranty period. Pieces of the treated lumber used have termite damage. I called this company over 4 times over a month period with no call back or them coming out to repalce the boards.Desired Settlement: Replace the damaged boards and adjust the gate latches.
