Fender Mender of Greenville Reviews (8)

Over approximately the last 7-years, I have requested well over times to stop having Pinch deliveredWhen contacting the business directly, I get no response and continue having this paper thrown into my yardThis has been an ongoing and chronic problemI have not received a copy in years, and just today had one thrown in my yardI don't know how I can be more

I subscribed to the Spokesman Review newspaper for months on March 5th and sent them a check for $They cashed my check and everything was fine until about months later they said their rates were going up and I would only receive my paper for months and weekI called and told them that since they cashed my check that I considered that an agreement in good faith so they should extend my subscription to the agreed date of.Sept 13,I noted that they were asking for a % raise in rates!!! The employee said they have the option of raising rates anytime they wantShe claimed their expenses had gone up and they had the right to do what they did, so now I owe them $or I will be cut offHow can they get by doing this to faithful subscribers? I know everybody's expenses have gone up! I received NO S Security cost of living raise this year because my Medicare premium went upMy electric bill, gas, phone, auto and homeowners insurance are upFood prices are up too

The Spokesman Review delivers a paper called the Pinch with company ads every TuesdayI have called to have this stoppedI have called close to timesEach time they say they will stop the paperIt might stop for few weeks or a few months then it starts up againI call again to to stop itMost recently was May The paper again was delivered May I do not know what else to doThe company refuses to stop the deliveriesMy concern is when I am traveling on business or pleasure, the papers will pile up and indicate that nobody is home

In January The Spokesman Review offered me a one year subscription renewal which I agreed and paid for the yearIn September, they notified me that the length of the subscription was shortened by monthsWhile I was disappointed, I was fine letting it go and not doing business with a company that could not complete what they had agreed to doNow I have received a bill because I did not notify them that I did not want the product that they said would be stoppedThis practice of intentionally offering a service at a bargain rate and then switching rate before the stated expiration is disheartening from a local company

On July I filed a complaint (complaint # [redacted] ) regarding unwanted weekly delivery of the Pinch to my driveway They responded with their usual - we'll stop delivery, and my only option through your complaint system was to close the complaint They stopped delivery for one week, which is typical of their response to my previous repeated complaints, but this morning the Pinch was tossed in my driveway again This unwanted delivery is garbage to me, and this company continues to throw their garbage in my driveway

As a resident of Greater Spokane the Spokesman-Review is the only print media for our area The Spokesman-Review uses social media to further their reach One such media outlet is Facebook The problem is that the person responsible for the content has a political bias I challenged the editor on the bias of the content posted and their failure to present to the people of Spokane all sides of world, national, and local event Apparently, ability to exercise a counter point of view or to challenge the editor at the Spokesman is not acceptable The editor has block the ability to follow and comment on the biased content postedThe block was done without warning or justification A clear violation of speechI'm not the only one the Spokesman-Review has done this to The Spokesman-Review should be ashamed

For about months This company has, and continues to throw onto my driveway and advertisement called The PinchI have called them repeatedly asking, then demanding that they stop throwing their trash onto my propertyTwice I spoke to a delivery superintendent, as well as several persons answering the phone at the delivery desk, and have been assured that they would stopThey not only have not stopped, today they scattered the paper all over my driveway, requiring clean up on my partI also have to pay a garbage fee in order to get rid of their trash

Sporadic unwanted delivery of the Spokesman Review and Pinch paper that litter my drivewayI am a real estate appraiser here in SpokaneI have appraised a lot of vacant homes that have been broken into, squatted in, and severely damaged by those who look for this type of opportunityOn many occasions there is the “calling card” Spokesman Review on the front porchSometimes a pile of them on the front porch of a house that has been vacant a year plusIn most cases a field service manager will come by every month or so to look after the house and clean the papers that continue to pile upOn Tuesday’s they deliver a “Pinch Paper” to everyone even non subscribersThe delivery people get paid for each one they deliver, so it is an incentive to drop them off everywhereIt comes in a Orange Wrap and they will continue to deliver even if there is one from the week before sitting thereI am sure you have seen homes driving around like I do with piles of these in the drivewayI don’t k
