On 10/19/I received a call in regards to a deposit never being received, after speaking with the past tenant she informed me that she never received her deposit, after looking over her account I saw that we sent a refund check of $on the 28th of July, however there was never a forwarding
address listed on the account here in our officeI asked her if she put in a forward through the post office and she said no but she thought that her roommate hadI did tell her that I would send an email to our accountant to see if she could research the payment and see if it was ever cashed or returned, typically if we receive a payment because there is no forwarding address it would be listed on the ledger and I did not see thatI then received another call on 10/24/to see if we had heard anything, I hadn't received anything but told her that I would send another email and I may get a response back the next day but as soon as I knew something I would let her knowThis payment is still currently being researchedThe refund was issued within a reasonable time we are just unsure of it was forwarded

We apologize for the confusion when it comes to understanding the termination policy with Fenwick PlaceWith our staff consistently learning we are willing to correct any mistakes that we may have madeWith that being said after reviewing the paperwork regarding *** ***'s early termination I can come to this agreement if *** would like When we did process the amount owed, it came back to us with the account being closedIf *** could send us the email correspondence that he stated he shared with us regarding the new account information request I would be happy to remove this from collections immediately and ask that he only pay his damages of $and the 20% remainder of his former lease of $I will remove the other charges because I do agree this particular situation was a bit confusing on both partiesTo ***, Fenwick apologizes and we are working daily to ensure we all are knowledgeable individuals in our workWe look forward to resolving this matter amicably

Problem:Fenwick place apartments agreed to let me out of my lease early and offered me a six month payment plan consisting of on move out day and the remaining payments broken up over $installments for monthsWell on the first of the month before move out day they withdrew instead of the I stopped by the office and she apologized for the mistake and said that instead of the due at moveout they would only be taking out I emailed the office representative my updated banking information and she sent a confirmation email backThey never contacted me afterwards and never withdrew the moneyI contacted the office again several days after moving out to inquire about my depositI was told that my deposit would be taken out if the amount I owe and I would only owe a $paymentOnce again no money was taken out and no contact was received from the officeI now have a collection letter arriving at my house for almost 2000.00.TranslateDesired Resolution / OutcomeDesired Resolution:Billing AdjustmentselectDesired Outcome:This is insaneThe company tells me my payments will be automatically take out each monthThen after contacting the business repeatedly they fail to mention any issuesI don't believe I owe a balance due to the pure incompetence of the office staff at Fenwick Place Apartments

The dates are first come first serve and we always try to give you the desired date or the next available. His lease is approximately 12 months and 9 days long.
In regards to resolving the early termination issue, Mr. [redacted] is welcome to come in and discuss payment options for the balance of an early termination. We generally request the balance paid in full at the time of vacating the apartment, however we would be happy to work out a payment plan up to 6 months for the trouble or confusion caused by former staff.
