Review: I signed a contract for cement work to be done and the required deposit of $2,250.00. "[redacted]" kept saying I'll start thursday but if I"m not here I'll start Monday. This was twice and then we told him when are you going to start. He said I'll be here on Monday. Monday came and by 10:00 he did show up. My husband called him and [redacted] told him he started another job. My husband got very annoyed. Tuesday I called [redacted] and told him we wanted our depsit. He said why I am going to start on Thursday. He told me my husband was yelling at him and I replied. Do you blame him you didn't show up or called and he's the on ethat was waiting for you to come and start the job and you told him you started another job. Well, he told me he didn't have the money because it was a construction company..He said he would drop off a check that afternoon or Wednesday. Those days came and went. When I called again for the money to be returned, he said he didn't have that he used it to get his NEW truck. Thars when I got annoyed. Itold him I wanted the money or I am going to my lawyers. He said go. So I called my lawyer and she adavized me to take im to Small Claims Court but she did try to call him to see if we could avoid this. this went on for a couple of days. Yesterday, (9/*/13) [redacted]s mother and sister call my cell phone to let me know that [redacted] was going to call me. He never did. Later I reciecved a call from a woman at FENX telling me I should call back and they wanted to come to my house and talk. I called back and left a message that I am done talking and waiting because nothing is happening. I said all I want is my deposit money back so I can move forward. I have not heard anything since.They have a Lic# [redacted] on the back of their business card.Desired Settlement: We just want our deposit of $2,250.00 back without having to go to Small Claims Court due to the fact that I do watch my Grandchildren and my husband is on [redacted] because of his [redacted]. He cannot stand for lengths of time or walk a distant. This is from [redacted] caused the [redacted] which affected the loss of [redacted] in his [redacted]. So solving this without going to court would be a blessing.

At this time, my complaint, ID [redacted] regarding Fenx Construction Corp. has been resolved. I had to get in contact with his Mother because [redacted] by passed the date he said he would pay the balance. I still have nothing good to say about this FENX Company.
