Ferguson Mechanical

This company was chosen by our Home Warranty company for Air Conditioning/Heating. There were two men sent out to look at our Air conditioner that started making loud noises a few days prior. When the two men arrived, I opened my door as I saw that they had a uniform on and assumed they were the A/C guys. After letting them in my door, the man named "Lorren" (he had a name tag on) just looked at me, didn't introduce himself or the company and with an attitude said "what's the problem?" I had explained the issue with the dispatch therefore he should have already known the issue, but he was very rude to not at least introduce himself upon entering my home. It went downhill from there. I told him that the unit started making loud noises and we wanted to get it checked out so that it didn't go out on us during the long hot summer that is ahead of us here in AZ. He went outside and checked the unit and confirmed it was louder than the other unit (we have 2 units). The other man that was with him was going upstairs to check filters as well as changing the thermostat while he was outside working on the unit. He told me that it was the compressor and also the fan motor. He said that the filters were very dirty and I explained to him that we change them very often as we have 2 pets (I believe I stated every month to every six weeks) and he said "you need to change them every month" in an argumentative manner. Basically he gave me the impression that this was our fault. He also argued with me about the year of the unit. Overall, he made me feel very uncomfortable with his actions, tone of voice and overall demeanor. We contacted the company that evening to discuss with them and just to let them know how this person was representing their company. We waited one day, no one called us so we tried them again. Got voicemail again, left another message. Shortly after leaving the message, the Home Warranty Company which referred us to them contacted us, took the complaint and is now scheduling us with another company. She also told me that this is a husband/wife team and that they did not want to work with us. They took our $65 for the trade call which we will not get back. Totally unprofessional that they couldn't even talk to us and hear our complaint. I warn others about this company!! Very unprofessional, very rude!

Our air conditioning went out in the middle of the night on a Friday during the middle of July. With a 3 week old premature baby just home from the hospital, I was desperate. Our home warranty company assigned us to another company that didn't answer the phone, return our call, or fulfill the work order. We contacted Ferguson Mechanical, mid morning on a Saturday, and explained our situation. Linda, was completely understanding and honest and said she would do everything she could to find a tech to come out, but if not would let me know asap so I could continue the search. Within an hour she called to let me know someone was on his way. Lorren came out, was knowledgeable, prompt, fixed our air and gave additional information that could have led to a larger issue.

After doing some research we requested Ferguson Mechanical to come out for our Home Warranty. Wow, I was overwhelmingly impressed with their promptness and professionalism in setting up the call. They got me set up with a time that worked well for my needs with my work schedule and was also soon (despite it being a busy time of year). When the individuals arrived to service and fix my AC I was very impressed with the professional clothes and well identified vehicle (including their ROC #, phone, etc.). This is important because my neighbors are vigilent at checking someone out. They came in (on time!), fixed the AC promptly and easily (exciting after having spent a lot of money with other AC companies servicing our ACs only to have the problem). The problem with our AC was explained to me clearly as well as what else they did while fixing our AC and checking it for anything else. I also learned a lot about maintaining my units, which will come in handy in the future. While at our home I asked for help with a guest house, which Lorren explained well on my options to cool it, what was best for my budget, etc. It was a very pleasant experience during a very stressful time. From now on my husband and I will ONLY use Ferguson Mechanical for all our AC and Heating needs, services, and sales. We have told many friends and neighbors about them. This is the company you call so you can trust what they do. This is the company you use because you know your units will be well maintained season after season, year after year. This is the company you use that will advise you of what you need, no more or less, they will provide you with options, speak to you about any concerns, and help educate you on what they are doing to your units. Plain and simple, this is the company you use!

Ferguson Mechanical put in our air conditioner following our son-in-law's disastrous attempt to make a simple change on the old unit (yes...we still love our SIL). We have now had the new unit for several years and could not be happier with the unit or the service. Other companies we used before I knew Ferguson does service and maintenance have viewed the unit and without exception have remarked at how well it is installed and what a terrific unit it is. We now use ONLY Ferguson and have recommended them to our other family members and friends. They are quick, qualified, and caring. Finally, I have found them totally trustworthy (not so with some other service people we used in the past) and cost conscious. I am not related to this company in any way...when I was looking up a company that my daughter had used (and currently is experiencing problems with), I decided to look up Ferguson to give her their information and saw their A+ rating, with no reviews. They are deserving of the A+...I'd give them an A++.
