In August 2016 I was referred to Fernandez Construction LLC by a co-worker. I enter into a contract with Fernandez Construction LLC to remove and replace my drive way install 7 windows and remove and re-frame 3 sliding glass doors and repair and complete entire home stucco per code including...

rebuilding all parapets and replacing canales where needed for 20000. All materials included except for the windows to be purchased by home owners. 7500 was given initially for the materials and work to be started. Work was not started when scheduled and many attempts to contact owner Hugo [redacted] M[redacted] went unanswered. Owner Hugo [redacted] M[redacted] shows up a few weeks later insisting on more money or he wasn't going to start work. He states he has to pay his guys or he will not be able work. I reluctantly agree to give him 2500 which now brings the total deposit to 10000 half of the total agreed upon amount.Finally 2 months later Fernandez Construction LLC starts and completes the driveway window installation and sliding glass door removal. Owner Hugo [redacted] M[redacted] insists on more money he wants 7000. Reluctantly I give him the money thinking the work will get done. Unfortunately I was wrong and have since given him the remaining balance in an attempt to get him to finish the work that needed to be done. It is now July 2017 and the stucco work has not been completed. The agreed upon amount has been paid in full due to insistence by owner Hugo [redacted] M[redacted] who refused to work unless he was given money in advance. Now unable to get a hold of owner Hugo [redacted] M[redacted] I sent him a Breach of Contract Notice informing him that I will take action against him if the job is not complete within a 14 day window. His business address is listed online and in the phonebook as Fernandez Construction LLC, [redacted]. According to the website, Rip-off Report.com, where previous customers have had similar dealings with [redacted], this is nothing more than a vacant lot where his trailers are stored. His Lic#FA0119172 is completely invalid.I would like Revdex.com to help me pursue a refund of$10,000 and hold Hugo [redacted] M[redacted] accountable for said refund.
