Fernandez Masonry Landscaping

Review: On 11/02/2015 I received a $300 invoice from Fernandez Landscaping for the month of October. The contract says the month of October will be $300 for mowing and leaf blowing no matter how many times they come. A reasonable individual would interpret this as they would mow and leaf blow as needed for the duration of the entire month, not three weeks. During the first week of October they came and mowed.The third week of October they came and blew leaves, but failed to mow although the yard needed mowing. They did NOT come the fourth week of October although the yard was covered with leaves and needed mowing.I called the office and the lady confirmed the above. She was not able to assist with the bill and said the owner would call.He called me at 3:45 on November 2nd and said the contract is very specific to avoid these situations. I informed I understood the contract, however their duties were not filled as they did not complete mowing for the season nor did they leaf blow the final week of the month. He said he would give me $100 credit. I said that is not good enough, he then said he would send my account to collections and hung up the phone.Desired Settlement: I will be willing to pay $35 (negotiated rate) for the one lawn mowing and $35 for the one leaf blowing. For a total (including tax) $74.90.
