Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because:The original refund that was agreed upon was $This was for a partial month of October and November minus the discount I received for paying in fullI discussed this with Paige M*** during a phone conversation in September once the program was dissolvedThe amount of $is a completely new amount that was never even discussedIF I accept the $how would I receive thisMrM*** is not a man of his word that is why we are discussing this matter with the Revdex.comI do not trust that he would mail the money or meet in personSo before I would agree to settling, I need to be sure my refund will be secure. Thank you once again for your time.
Sincerely,
*** ***

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:The statement made by Mr. M[redacted] is false. I did receive training from Mr. M[redacted] in the form of an organized kickboxing class. I signed a 6 month contract beginning on May 22, 2017. This contract was suppose to entail a minimum of 2 classes a week Monday & Wednesday (5pm or 6pm) or Tuesday & Thursday (7am). They were aware of my flexed scheduled and new I would be attending different sessions throughout the week and I could not commit to the set days. In July, The Tuesday and Thursday classes were cancelled. The end of July beginning of August, they (he and his wife) began sporadically showing up and constantly cancelling classes without promised make up sessions. Then the beginning of September, the class changed to four days a week at 5:30pm. But this too did not last. They barely showed up for class, we were lucky to have 1 session a week. The week of September 20th we became fed up with lies and excuses and told we (myself and 2 other students) wanted out of the program due to their breech in contract and wanted a reimbursement for the remainder of the contract. I received a phone call from Paige M[redacted] on September 24, 2017 stating I would receive my refund of $273.00. As of October 3, 2017, I still had not received a refund and was told "the refund takes 7-10 business days. Any further questions refer them to David" I referred my questions and concerns to Mr. M[redacted] and I was ignored for several weeks. Mr. M[redacted] finally contacted me on October 23, 2017 telling me he had to issue me a check because I paid by check. The other girls paid by credit card and he could issue them an online refund. He spoke to them as well calling me "stupid for paying in full and paying with a check" this comment was stated 4 separate times during their phone conversation. Again, great business etiquette. I was suppose to meet Mr. M[redacted] the week of October 30, 2017 and it was postponed to the following week on November 6, 2017. Mr. M[redacted] had planned to stop by my place of employment with a check and once again a no show. I attempted to contact him three more times until November 14, 2017 when I stated if I did not hear from him I would be putting a review on [redacted] and make a claim to the Revdex.com. I also stated I would contact the local newspaper. I have not contacted the local paper because they have not yet opened a new gym. I did put a "one star" review on [redacted] and made the report to Revdex.com. It is now December 6, 2017 and Mr. M[redacted] has yet to refund my money for the broken/breeched contract. My other class mates were able to dispute the fraud to their banks and infact were rewarded their money back. I did pay with a check and thus being difficult to dispute. I have supporting phone records for all the information I have provided. I just do not want another individual to fall into their scam. From reading reviews online (a little late) this is not the first time they have done this to someone. Thank you in advance for your time. Sincerely,  [redacted]
