Great... Would've been nice if someone could've simply responded and told me the first four times I emailed them... In two weeks...

The company stated they would mail me a special envelope for me to return coupons in order for them to send me different ones. I have yet to recieve this envelope after an entire month of making several attempts to make sure they send it out. I received one email weeks ago asking me to confirm that the address they have is correct. I responded to them right away and emailed them several times since then and no response. My patience has worn very thin and I am done with the goose chase.

I purchased a larger bag of Halloween Candy from *** last October. It was to stuff treat bags for my children classroom parties. When I Began to start putting the bags together I saw a hole. I didn't think much of I, I assumed it was a hole from workers cutting open the boxes. It wasn't until I got the candy open and saw several pieces of the candy had little chew marks on them and feces were in the bag. I called the company (I had paid close to 30.00 for the candy) I sent them the candy and the poop as told to and I was told I would get a replacement coupon. Well after about 5 weeks I got a coupon for a single piece of candy. I called the company and spoke with a gentleman I was given his apologies and told coupons for the correct product amount would be issued. 2 coupons because the full price was not capable of being printed o a single coupon that my coupon would e mailed out asap. Its January 2020 ad I have yet to receive said coupons.

I Purchased a bag of kiddie mix 200 count when I opened it some candy was missing and out of the 200 pieces 103 were gum and it was advertising 9 different kinds of candy and it is being used for my son’s Halloween party He offered a coupon to get a free bag of the same stuff but by the time I would get it his Halloween party and I would ya e no use for a 200 piece bag of candy and the supervisor Amy said they don’t have the capability to issue a refund I would like to get a refund I don’t understand how a billion dollar company cannot issue a refund

Dear Mr. Shwan ***.

We understand your frustration, and we want to do what we can to make this right. Per company policy we do not issue cash refunds, but what we can do is send you coupons for other products to try and make up for the inconvenience you experienced with the Kiddie Mix. We will be happy to send coupons to the address you listed.

This company sends stale candy. The candy we received had a chalky look to the chocolate and the inside was not creamy but pretty dried up. They mark their boxes with a sticker gun (seems like it should be stamped in the box) with the expiration date. It's like they pull them off their warehouse shelves and mark them when they ship. There just is no way the candy should be in the condition we received it when the expiration date was supposed to be a year plus out. They wanted to send coupons (but not the full amount for what I ordered) rather than return money. I don't want anymore stale candy.

I the company several months ago about finding a foreign object embedded in my candy after I had put it in my mouth. I was asked to send in a sample of the candy along with an investigation ticket. After not hearing from the company for several weeks I reached back out to the company via Facebook. I was told that someone would contact me regarding the issue. a few days later Mindy emailed me stating that the company never received my sample. I emailed them back that I could send in a sample from the bag. Mindy then called me stating that without the sample they could not do anything for me. The company refused to stand by their product guarantee, even after I sent in photo proof of the rubber in my mint. She said that I didn't have proof and they would not be able to do anything for me

Ferrara has reach out on multiple occasions to retrieve the sample and listen to the customer's needs. Please see the corresponding timelines below. We have been in constant contact with consumer.

8/22/17: Ms. states that she found a piece of rubber in a Brach’s Peppermint Star brite. We asked her for her physical mailing address so that a postage paid envelope could be sent for item retrieval.

8/25/17: Ms. stated that she was upset that no one from Ferrara has contacted her regarding this issue. She also stated that she would go to the Revdex.com with this issue if it was not taken care of. Once again, we asked her for her physical mailing address so that a postage paid envelope could be sent for item retrieval. She then responded with her address and a picture of the foreign object in question.

1/22/18: Ms. posted on *** that she has had no response from FCC regarding her issue. FCC reached out and told her that we have yet to receive her sample. Also explained that we cannot perform an investigation without a sample, as we take this allegation quite seriously.

1/23/18: Ms. has been told yet again that we need the item in question to perform an investigation. Here she admits that she sent back the pre-paid envelope over a month ago. She also added that she sent back a handful of candy, as she had thrown out the “rubber”. Again, she was told that we need the physical specimen. She was very upset and was told that we would override as we have no codes or samples and issue her a $5.00 coupon. She then hung up.

1/23/18: Came into the news that Ms. has contacted the Revdex.com. She has also asked to speak with a Manager. Janet phoned her and extended a $7.50 coupon. She accepted and this case is now closed.

We consider it closed on our end. Thank you for letting us know this issue. This allows us to become a better company.

Complaint: ***

I am rejecting this response because: This business failed to honor their satisfaction garuntee and this should reflect negatively on the company. Additionally the business is misrepresenting the facts of this case. Both Janet and Mindy were rude and dismissive when trying to reach an amicable resolution. As a customer I shouldn't have to beg the company to honor their own satisfaction guarantee as printed on their products. Additionally I complied with everything the company asked me to do and gave photographic proof of a foreign object found in my candy. What's this business customer service practice is deplorable at best.
Sincerely,

April
