We did not even realize this sticker from 2012 was still up.  As you can see I removed it...  Have a nice day.

Revdex.com:At this time, I have not been contacted by Ferrari Driving Schools, Inc. regarding complaint ID [redacted].Sincerely,[redacted]

Review: I'm not pleased and very offended that your business practices are not honest. I agreed to a 1-45 minute lesson and a 5 hour pre licensing course for $68 dollars. I had to reschedule for both because of a death in my family. And after my driving lesson I spoke to Nancy and was told that my course was not rescheduled and I have to pay an extra $50 dollars. I would never refer anyone to your business because of all of the receptionists.Desired Settlement: I would like to receive credit for my pre-license course for the amount that was advertise to me. Also stop making false deals over the telephone. Only advertise what's listed on group on or your website

Response:

We do not charge for rescheduling a 5hr course regardless if it was paid through us or [redacted]. She is welcome to do the 5hr course anytime and we would honor any [redacted] deal. (expired or not) Not sure how that confusion occurred between her and Nancy. [redacted] is welcome to call and speak with our manager Osvaldo if she wants to schedule that. Review: As a returning customer, who previously took a road test in a tractor trailer, I am anxious to get an "N2" restriction taken care of. I paid the full balance for a package I purchased on June [redacted]. One of the representatives told me that as soon as the full balance was paid, I would be placed on a waiting list and I would have my road test date within two weeks. It has been past two weeks and I still don't have a road test date!!Desired Settlement: Road Test Date!! (the sooner, the better)

I am also NOT happy with the fact that I am half-way through my package, looking forward and preparing for the DMV skills test when I don't have a date!!

Response:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution has been resolved. In the future, please have their business stick to their word about scheduling road tests. It is a huge disappointment that I was able to find a road test date before August [redacted], when the representative from the business told me that my road test date would be AFTER August [redacted].

Sincerely,

Review: I registered to take a defensive driving course through their driving school on May *, 2013. I was told during the course to fill out all the necessary documents and submit my information to them to ensure that all documents would be sent to the correct address. I gave my driver's license and told them that I had moved and gave them my new address. At the end of the course, I was told that my denfensive driving course certificate would be mailed to: [redacted] within 6 to 8 weeks. I did not receive anything within the 6 to 8 week period. I notified my insurance company if they had received any information in regards to my defensive driving course taken on May *, 2013. They told me they had received the information via the Department of Motor Vehicles. I was concerned still but thought it would come in the mail later. I have changed insurance companies and still have not received any documents from this driving defensive course as promised. I did go to the motor vehicles to see if I could get a copy of this document. However, they do not give out a defensive driving certificate. I telephoned the company and they gave me a telephone number to call to clear up this matter. The number is: ###-###-####. I spoke with a gentleman who took my information and said he would get back to me later in the day after 5PM or by the next day the latest. He did leave me a voice mail on my cell phone after I phoned him back after 3:00PM the next day. He told me that I needed to check with the post office nearest my home. I told him that I not only checked the post office near my home, I went to two more post offices to see if the document was lost in the mail in their postal centers. I was not able to find this document at either of the 3 post offices I went to. The gentleman then told me I would have to pay an additional $10.00 to get another copy of the this document. I felt why should I have to pay an additional $10.00. I paid for this already.Desired Settlement: I am just desiring that I be resent this defensive driving certificate with out additional charge to me. I have already paid for this through the defensive driving school, and was told I would get it in the mail and did not receive it. I am only seeking justice for what was already promised upon satisfactorily completing the course. I am asking for help in this matter, as I need this certificate to reduce the cost of my vehicle's insurance. Thank you for any assistance you may give me.

Response:

This is out of our hands. We are not the issuing agency that makes or sends the official certificate. If it was up to us we would make him a duplicate and for no charge. We are only approved to conduct the class not to issue certificates. He will have to contact them again. We will be more than happy to give him the $10 out of our own pocket if that is what will make him happy...

Response:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me and the matter has been resolved. I would greatly appreciate it if someone would pay the additional duplicate certificate fee of $10.00 and submit my copy to me. Thank you.

Sincerely,

Review: Last week, upon entering the business of Ferrari Driving School, I noticed an official "Revdex.com Accredited Business" sticker pasted on the glass of their front door. Sparking my interest of the validity of such a presentation, I decided to check whether this business was honest in such a claim. During my search on the Revdex.com website, I was shocked and appalled to learn that the business wasn't only NOT accredited by the Revdex.com, but also had a "D" rating. These actions serve to display the underlying ethical issues and other questionable business practices this company may engage in. Such immoral business practices of luring trusting, potential customers to commission the company's services by deceptively displaying that they are an accredited business needs to be castigated to the fullest extent.Desired Settlement: A prompt removal of aforementioned, fraudulently placed "Revdex.com Sticker" from business entrance door and an issuance of a public apology to all recent customers for deceptively influencing the customer's decision of selecting to do business with their institution.

Review: As a student of Ferrari Driving School I had passed my Class B CDL License road test on the [redacted] of last month(March). A week later, I went down to the 34th st. Dept of Motor Vehicles to take my endorsement tests. After passing the endorsement tests I had applied for the Class B CDL License and the Class A Learner's Permit. I was immediately issued the Class A CDL Learner's Permit but I had to wait for the actual CDL Class B License to be mailed to me. About 2 weeks ago I had received 2 letters from the DMV informing me that the 2 checks issued to me by Ferrari Driving School had "bounced" and that two individual $35 dollar fines were lodged against my drivers license(Class B)due to these 2 bounced checks and that my license would be suspended until the $70 fines were paid and payment for both the Class A Learner's permit and the Class B CDL License were paid for. I went to Ferrari Driving School's main office in Astoria, NY and informed [redacted] of this problem. [redacted] had assured me that Barry from the Brooklyn, NY office had mailed in a certified check for the $70 fines and for the license and learner's permit fees and that my Class B CDL License will be mailed to me shortly. That was over 2 weeks ago and I still have yet to receive my Class B CDL License. My interim Class B CDL License expires in June. What sad about this dilemma is that I completed my CDL training for nothing because I have yet to receive my Class B CDL License, which, along with the CDL training was paid for by the state of NY(ACCESS/VESID). Without my Class B CDL License I will be unable to acquire and maintain employment as a CDL driver, because I don't have my Class B CDL License. Which in turn will make it harder for me to move out of the homeless shelter I'm living in.Desired Settlement: To provide me with the funds, provided to Ferrari Driving School by Access/Vesid to pay for my CDL training and the Class B CDL License and my Class A Learner's Permit and the $70 penalty lodged against and the removal of the suspension from my driver's license

Response:

We sent the payment in to DMV on march [redacted]. (see 2 pictures attached)

Our account was closed because of someone using our checks in a fraudulent way.

Sorry for the inconvenience. We did our part to fix the situation. In DMV hands now.

Review: I purchased a study course for CDL license for $100.00 dollars. I dedicated myself to study to pass the exams and be able to get my permit. Turns out that none of the questions that were in the study course where in the test. I don't know who translates the study course because I purchased in Spanish and the translations were not interpreted right at all. I am so disappointed because not only did I loose the money but I failed the test as well. I actually had to get the book from the DMV so that I can actually study the right way.Desired Settlement: I would like to have my money back.

Review: I was enrolled at Ferrari Driving school and was told they will not provide me with transportation (METRO CARDS) because the referring agency has not yet paid the school. I called ACCES-VR and was told that the payment is in process. I have been attending the school since 1/*/2016 and could not make it in on 1/**/2016 and today 1/**/2016 because I don't have carfare. The school is suppose to provide me with a Metro card and they haven't because they have not received payment. It's not my issues with the finances between to agencies. I completed my training and all my part and was enrolled in school, this is impacting my life and possible career. I completed my part and complied with all protocols. and now I'm in danger of losing everything I planed for because to agencies can't communicate with each other so poor individuals like myself has to suffer. I have complied with all legal, treatment mandates, I have made a change in my life and now the system fails me again. Please anything you can do or assist me with will be greatly appreciated.Desired Settlement: I would like to continue with mi CDL training and get my metro card so I can attend my training. I'm only asking for the metro cards that all the other students get and I am entitle to. Or maybe the agency ACCES-VR can be called and see why they haven't yet paid Ferrari Driving School. Please help, Just making a change for a brighter future.

Response:

We don't provide (Metrocards) transportation. Transportation checks are provided by ACCES. They send checks out once student is approved for their Training Voucher. No transportation checks or voucher has arrived yet to us at Ferrari Driving School. We hope it is arriving any day now.
