Ferrari Pools, Patios And Spas Reviews (%countItem)

Company will not return emails or phone calls in regards to service issues. This has been ongoing for 2 years.
Pool construction was substantially completed in July of 2016.
There were numerous issues during construction phases all outlined in emails from me to Ferrari pools. I payed as agreed through the whole process with exception of final payment. Final invoice from Ferrari was incorrect and we had unresolved issues such as damaged fencing, and over billing .
I have emailed *** in regards to these issues on several occasions . We noticed this may that tiled are falling off all over the pool along with loose coping as well. I called and emailed *** about 45 days ago and threatened to sue Ferrari if they do not respond to these issues . Still have not heard back from anyone at this company. I can forward all coresponding emails with company upon request . I spent $65000plus on this pool and can not even get a call back or an email in regards to service or final adjusted accurate invoice.

Desired Outcome

Looking for service repairs to be made in a timely fashion

Contracted this company to install a new pool liner and concrete patio. It basically took the entire pool season and longer. There are still issues
New concrete deck is cracked. Despite notification company is unresponsive. Pool steps are stained - despite notification company is unresponsive. Brand new liner was ripped when they had to replace the concrete because it was done wrong. Despite complaints company is unresponsive. Floor of pool liner has some kind of construction material sticking to it - despite complaints company is unresponsive. Final workmanship of pool cover appears to be poor. It has broken off pieces of concrete wedged in parts of the pool to hold it together. The company was not good to work with throughout the process. Deadlines we're missed consistently. Final product is sub-par

Desired Outcome

The problems either need to be fixed or we need financial compensation so we can pay someone else to fix the job. Our new liner is damaged, our steps appear ruined, the concrete is cracked and the liner appears to be held in by chips if broken concrete. We have tried several times to contact management and staff to resolve and are being ignored.

Ferrari Pools has not fulfilled their obligations to us as stated on the contract I signed with them on 9/10/2016 to repair our gunite swimming pool
On the contract signed with Ferrari Pools, they agreed to remove and replace the tile, the coping and replace them both, replace the Deco Seal around it, , acid wash the plaster and pressure test the pool , checking for leaks.
I can furnish a copy of this contract for you anytime you wish.
Throughout their renovation work on our pool, they have done sloppy work, stained our deck, damaged our plaster under the tiles that they had replaced , never pressure tested the lines , not acid washed the pool correctly and left me and my husband, ***, hanging without response, often for weeks at a time and causing us both great emotional stress because of it. Our daughter had to intervene in July because of this and she managed to get the owner, *** , out to review all the problems. He did get the Deco Seal finally done ( but it needs some fixing)and agreed to finish the repairs right after Labor Day, so now we have been trying to get them to schedule that to be done and repeatedly tried to reach Diane *** one of the owners, to schedule it to be done, but for two weeks, she has refused to talk with either *** or me and not responded to my emails or our phone call messages.
We have held out the balance of $6,000 due upon completion, because the job is not finished and the damage they caused still needs to be properly repaired. As of today, they are not responding to our many attempts to schedule them to finish the job and it is now time to close it up for the season.
We believe that the main reason that their damaging repair under the tile was because they insisted on refilling the pool ( at a great expense to us for the water) then came out later, lowered the water to just under the tile line and did a sloppy patch up job using plaster patch, leaving it discolored, very rough , ugly and causing our pool to be damaged. For this reason, we feel the only way to properly restore our pool's plaster to beauty is by draining the pool again, completely, removing the wide band of ugly plaster patch, repairing the plaster in that entire area, under the tiles, finish the acid wash in a professional manner as they should have done, then once they refill it, at their expense, to do the pressure testing of the lines as on the contract and check for possible leaks. We should not be forced to pay for the three truckloads of water to refill the poolthey should pay for it this time. Also, the decoSeal needs to be corrected where it does not seal properly the mortar between the coping tiles needs to be be repaired where it is not done right, and our cement deck & patio needs to be cleaned of the stains they made when they did the job because they were sloppy and dropped cement or plaster dust in many spots over it. They tried to remove those by pressure washing but it didn't work.
If possible we would be glad to use the balance owed to hire a good professional pool repair company to finish the job so we can finally be done, close our pool and move on with our lives. But we need permission to be able to do this. Time is a big factor because it is getting colder, the leaves will be falling and it needs to get done in two weeks.
Please help us?
Sincerely,
*** &

Desired Outcome

We seek to get the renovation of our gunite swimming pool done correctly, the damages they did repaired, the work they contracted to do , done and be able to close our swimming pool by mid September. IF not, we could suffer further damage to our pool, because of the winter weather. We are very sad that they have turned this simple renovation job into a nightmare. It is the 4th time we have had this done and all the other contractors have been very professional, on time, very responsive to our questions and needs and done a fantastic job. We are shocked that this company has done these terrible things to us and damaged our beautiful swimming pool and our yard. I have photos to provide if you need them. Also I can provide a copy of the contract.

Contact Name and Title: ***, President

Contact Email: ***@ferraripools.com
Ferrari Pools did perform all aspects of our Renovation agreement. I have been on site on 2 occasions to meet with the homeowner and our tile installer. I made a point to explain that the pool patio and plaster are both old and will look older after the installation of new brick and tile. In addition, I advised that any repair to the plaster after the tile installation will not look the same since the existing plaster is old. Also, the deco seal will be an issue due to the irregularities in the existing patio. The acid wash was done correctly, but the plaster is old and will not look new. We pressure washed the entire patio, not in our agreement. Our records indicate that the pressure test was done, and to my knowledge they are not experiencing any water loss, but we will pressure test again if needed. Our contract was for $ 14,667.00 and the payment of $ 6,000..00 was due upon the installation of the coping and tile, several months ago. This amount is long overdue. We have done everything that I discussed with *** excluding an offer to perform a suspended acid wash, not on the contract at the end of the season once they were done using the pool. Our salesperson spoke with her a few weeks ago and she expressed the need to close the pool right away due to an illness in her family that she needed to go visit. Our salesman emailed her and told her she could close the pool and we would do the suspended acid wash in the spring, however we do need her payment for the $ 6,000. I was just recently notified by the Revdex.com, that this complaint had been filed. The initial notice went to spam.

WE perform over 100 renovations and 100 new Pool installations per year for the last 20 years. We finished our contracted agreement. The additional work was not contracted but offered to help situation of a customer that was unwilling to accept that her pool and patio are old. I do not expect that the plaster will change.

Customer Response

Attached are some photos of one of the problems we're having with the pool ,to help you understand why we cannot close the pool until corrected. Contrary to what *** told you, you can see on these photos that it is not the existing deck that we're having problems with the Decoseal's attaching to and sealing out water, it is the new coping tiles, as you can see, as these pictures clearly show. This is what caused our original problem and why we had to do the repairs.

Since nobody from Ferrari Pools has made the effort to see it, how can *** say what the problem is?
This is not the only problem, as you know, that we're having with ferrari Pools, but is the reason that we cannot close the pool until it is fixed. Otherwise, water will enter through these cracks, crevices and openings, that you can see from these photos and more that I will also email to you as proof.

*** had promised to come back to address the other issues right after Labor Day but ignored my attempts to set up that service which is why I had to contact the Revdex.com in the first place.
Those issues still remain and *** is incorrect I saying that the pressure testing was performedit definitely was not and we have since found out where the leak is and no longer need that to be performed. So we need to deduct that fee of $475.

We welcome ***'s coming here to see it, getting these issues resolved and finally closing our pool before it gets any later. All wwe ask is that he sets up an appointment for that with us before coming here.

Ferrari Pools, Patios And Spas Response

To whom it may concern,

I do not receive emails from the Revdex.com for whatever reason. I just received a letter in the mail today ( 10/25/2017 ), that this is unresolved.

I will send an email to the homeowner letting them know that I will have someone go out and look at her issues again, but a large payment was not paid and I have as well as others gone and inspected her issues on more than one occasion. We have acted on the issues, but it continues to go on that she is not satisfied. As I have mentioned the pool is older and in particular the patio, there are certain things that cannot be fixed without replacing the patio. I do not believe that she has to replace the patio, but she has to understand that sometimes the new coping will not match up to the old patio and the result is the difficulty of sealing the 2 components together.
