LB International was contacted via email by *** *** regarding an umbrella he purchased July (no receipt showing proof of purchase was provided)According to *** *** the umbrella was used in and put away for the winter in perfect conditionWhen the umbrella was taken out after

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

I feel that the most logical solution is for me to return this defective umbrella to the point of purchase. I'm sure that LBI still does deliveries to Throgs Neck Discount, where I purchased the umbrella, as I still see they're items there. If I opted to mail the item, it would costs almost as much as the item is worth, with no guarantee that they would acknowledge receiving it. I have mailed letters, return receipt requested and it cost me over $7.00. I'm sure this would be many times more expensive. The company says that they would pay for shipping. Again, where's the guarantee or mail voucher. I have the original receipt. As LBI stated, I put the umbrella away in tact, there was no wind, or adverse weather in my basement, where I store all my outdoor items for the winter. (Only their umbrella deteriorated). Obviously some defect in the material. For these reasons, I feel the only reasonable resolution, for this inexpensive item, is to allow me to return it to the store of purchase, where they can retrieve the defective umbrella, and supply me with a new one, or issue a full refund of $21.76. ($19.99+$1.77 tax).
