Ferraro Auto Sales

I was seeking to purchase a vehicle from [redacted]. I gave him a $200.00 deposit with the agreement that it would be refunded if the car wasn't completely repaired in (3) business days. Two weeks have passed and the car still needed repair. I made numerous attempts to contact [redacted] by phone to no avail. I sent him a certified letter informing him that I was no longer interested in purchasing the vehicle and I would like my deposit returned. Every consumer has the right to change their minds without penalty especially when a no-refund policy isn't clearly stated.Business' Final Response hi [redacted] just read [redacted] response ,ask him if he remembers me telling him the next day that the seat was just unplugged,when I plugged it in, the seat was working/in our original agreement [redacted] agreed to take the car with the air bag light on in the dash,,(reason for low price on car),,,&,,,,the ct. mvd allows owners to legally drive & register cars with a srs light on,,,he only requested that the passenger power seat be operating,,,when he called back a couple days later he told me he changed his mind on the sale,even though I met his request,,,,,the purpose of a deposit is to hold a car for the sale date,it is a partial payment on the sale price,,,a buyer knows that their deposit is non-refundable unless it is contingent on an agreement between the two partys ,such as the agreement written in his bill of sale about the seat,.After he refused to accept this agreement ,I brought the car to the ,M.B. dealer,to check out air bag ,srs light on and,it ,ended up just being a low battery,.,,,I will re-advertise the car ,since I lost other potential buyers when I accepted a deposit,,,,,even though im not required to give back a deposit ,ask [redacted] if he would accept a business check for $150.00??,,I need to keep a record of any expenses
