False Advertisement/Bad Business Practice - Promised registration papers within 120 days for puppy purchased, business failed to deliver.
Purchased a puppy on 11/3/17. Business promised registration paperwork within 120 days of purchase. This was promised by manager as well as in writing in the documents I signed before I left with the pup. We paid the total amount for the dog in cash; $2,028.24. I have called on numerous occasions to request the paperwork. Was told that a manager would return my call but they never did. Last phone call I made, I was told that paperwork was available for the dog purchased before mine and the dog after, but for some "weird reason" my dog's paperwork is missing. Was then told that the owner would return my call or come through with paperwork and they failed to respond. To date, I have heard nothing from the business concerning this matter. I was lied to and mislead on several occasions by this business.

Desired Outcome

I would like a refund of $1,300.00 from the business. A dog without registration papers does not cost this much to purchase. I can go find a Boston Terrier puppy for $500.00 or less.

Sorry for any confusion or misunderstanding about the registration papers for Boston Terrier puppy. Registration application is at store and ready for customer to pick up anytime at their convenience. Customer can always call store to have them mailed to them.

(The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.)
After receiving business's response, I stopped by the store to pick up application/registration papers. Sent in registration & received a response from registry immediately & received the certificate via USPS within days. The employees at Fetch are confused on what good customer service is & what is written in their puppy contracts; they failed to make a simple phone call to resolve this issue months ago. I find it humorous the paperwork magically appeared at the store after I contacted the Revdex.com. I will take this resolution & never do business with Fetch again.

After purchasing my puppy from Fetch in August of 2017, I was given a payment plan that would include 6 monthly payments of $324.54. The original cost of my cocker spaniel was $2,600. First, the puppy was supposed to be "registered" and a purebred cocker spaniel. After a vet visit and a phone call resulting in Fetch "losing our paperwork," we determined this was not true. Last week I started receiving phone calls from a cellphone in Columbus from a man who said he was with two separate collections agency's calling in regards to a debt that was owed. He did not have any of my personal information as a normal collector would, and he said he received the information about the debt from Fetch. After speaking with Fetch, they said they had lost all of our paperwork and that our payments were not stored digitally. As a result, the collections agent asked to receive bank numbers and to have the bank statements faxed to a non official number. Fetch has now stated they will let go of any collections charges if we provide proof that I did in fact pay the monthly fees. They gave out my personal information as well as the co-owner's of the puppies. They used a collection agency that was untraceable and whose workers used only personal cellphones to make business calls.

Desired Outcome

Contact by the Business I would like for the Revdex.com to be in contact with Fetch and further investigate how they are taking care of the payments new pet owners are making. I also believe that they should be investigated for the legitimacy of the animals they are selling since they are being sold at such a high price. They have given out personal information without consent and to agencies that have multiple different names and no trace online.

Collection agency has been notified that payment was made and customer is cleared of any balance. Registration papers for puppy can be available for customer to be picked up at store or can be mailed for their convenience. Please let the store know

Misrepresented the true costs, risks and/or appropriateness of financing terms. Failure to provide documents in person or by email.
I purchased a dog on 01/27/18 form this store. I was going to pay cash, but was offered financing at 0% interest for 6 months. I have excellent credit score so I get financing offers like this all the time. I was trying to avoid paying interest with the ability to make payments over 6 months per the offer. I was told I would receive a copy of financing documents. I never received copy at the store or by email. I only received a sales receipt for price + sales tax. I placed a called a week later to the store for more info and was directed to the lender's website. Signed up and noticed I was being billed by store/lender an add'l 8% fee. This fee was not listed on the Sales Receipt. I would have paid cash had I been told about fee totaling $495.15. Lender directed me back to the store for resolution stating the store would need to send them a partial cancellation letter to cover the fee. I called again and spoke to ***, the store manager, was told she would send lender the letter by end of week. 2 weeks later the lender has not rec'd letter. Called lender and got to a *** & *** relationship managers, and was told they spoke to *** and advised her of need for letter from store again. I called several times after this for *** and even left several messages with her staff for a return call from her or a regional manager/owner. They never called me back. I spoke to my attorney regarding predatory lending practices and he thinks this fits the mold. I paid the lender the full sales price + sales tax due before the first payment has even been due in hopes this would satisfy lending. As of today, the account balance remains and is incurring interest even thought it hasn't been a full month. I do not want to return my dog or a refund. I only want them to take care of lending fee and believe that is only fair for their predatory lending benefits as the merchant ignores and hinders the borrower's ability to repay the debt. These lending tactics take advantage of a borrower's lack of understanding about the terms of financing.

Desired Outcome

I am seeking the resolution of the lending fee to avoid my attorney from filing a costly suit with the court.

We are sorry for the miscommunication about the finance companies origination fee. Fetch has decided to care of the origination fee for the customer. We have contacted the lending company and they will take the fee off the customers loan. This can take up to 30 days to show on balance of loan.

I wish I could submit a photo. The dogs in the store are sick. They have nasal discharge and throwing up. The company said it was from stress. No way. This place is deplorable and needs to be shut down. These poor dogs are treated badly. They need vet care immediately. I was just browsing. I would never buy anything from this store.
