Review: This is in regards to a part, protectorelay replaced on my oil boiler. I've been their loyal customer for about 3 years. On Feb **, 2013 Ferrantino Fuel Corp replaced a Honeywell protectorelay Oil Burner control, model #[redacted]. The installation & labor totaled $310.00. Little less than a year the protectorelay broke down. On Feb **, 2014 the part was replaced again, the cost was $410.00. At the time on the 2nd replacement, I was unaware it was less than year. I spoke to a rep named, [redacted]. The 1st time we spoke, I was told the warranty was a year. A week later confirmed warranty is 90 days. He confirmed that "the manufacturer issues ONLY 90 day warranties on this particular electrical part" But in fact, the box for the part is printed 2 year warranty! On Honeywell website includes at least 1 yr. there is a mislead info on the warranty. I deserve at least the 1yr and refuse to pay for the part on the falsify warranty information [redacted] has given me. He also said, that he'll have "someone come over and remove part & replace it with the broken part" from last yr without my permission. I believe thats force & entry.Desired Settlement: Since the part is defective, and broke less than a year, I should be credited for the amount charged for the 2nd replacement.

A full credit has been issued for the invoice in question. We should have been able to at least charge for the labor of the installation of the part, but we issued a full credit.

Review: On February **,2014, I was receiving an oil delivery and for the 2nd time in about 15 months my oil delivery was overflowed. It went into my basement, my garden, on my porch, my neighbors basement and porch also. They had to dig out one of my hedges and left the other two and dug down 4 feet to replace the dirt that was full of oil. Ferrantino sent the company Milro to clean up. It took more than a week to clean, our basements smelled of oil then and still do at times. We are waiting for them to come and epoxy the area that was covered in oil and they haven't come to finish, telling us it needs to be warmer out. They put the oil damaged items in our front gardens covered in plastic awaiting an insurance adjuster and several days ago my items were stolen!! I called Ferrantino and asked for the number of the Insurance adjuster and my calls have not yet been returned. The DEC was called in on this the day it happened. I have [redacted] as do my two teenage children and the smell was horrible. My husband came down with [redacted] during this time and I've had a constant cough and cold. We've also had industrial size fans running in both our basements for the smell, which has definitely sent our electric bills soaring. I have since changed oil companies but am very frustrated with the lack of support and lack of communication on Ferrantino's part.Desired Settlement: I would like a settlement on the items damaged, my garden repaired, including all three hedges not just the one they took out...it looks ridiculous. My plants under the damaged items need to be replaced as they are surely dead. I'd like to be compensated for my electric bill and the time and hassle and sickness all this has caused, not to mention the stress.
