In light of Ms [redacted] concerns, we have reached out to her employer multiple times over the past week to discuss how they should process this wage garnishment order The person in charge of payroll has been unavailable and is supposed to be returning to the office this Friday, April 15th We hope to review this matter with them at that time.If Ms [redacted] ' income is low enough under federal standards, the garnishment will not be processed to withhold income The formula for this threshold is spelled out on the Order, and it is what we will discuss with the employer on Friday Lastly, it is against federal law for the employer to retaliate or punish the employee because of a wage garnishment.Thank you [redacted] , Esq.General Counsel / CCO
