Review: We purchased a software subscription from this company for $1,170.00/year for the period 11/28/12-13. (We were subscribers for many years.) We used it for only one Investment Consulting client. All the rest of our clients are GIPS Verification clients, & we do not need or use this software with the Verification clients. As of 08/18/13, we are no longer doing Investment Consulting. We are only doing GIPS Verification. We requested a refund for the period 08/19/13-11/28/13, 102/365 days x $1,170 = $326.96. The company has refused to give us a refund. In effect, this company is STEALING from clients who cancel their subscription because they don't need it any longer.Desired Settlement: We would like a refund check for $326.96. Since we travel a lot to see clients, we would like an email from Fi360, Inc. telling us the day they mail the check, so that we can watch for it.

Furthermore, the user had the option of shorter subscription periods, which would have resulted in a higher rate paid. During the 263 days the customer states they were using the product, they received the benefit of our annual subscription pricing, paying $1,170 for 365 days of service. The $1,170 they paid is a comparable amount to what they would have paid for 270 days if they had chosen more appropriate subscription lengths for their needs (pricing options for the Gold Version of the Toolkit can be found here: http://www.fi360.com/products-services/tools-overview/toolkit-for-advisors/toolk...⇄ />
· Nine 30-day subscriptions * $140 = $1,260
· Three 90-day subscriptions * $386 = $1,158
We will not be meeting the client’s request for a prorated refund for the portion of the subscription they did not take advantage of. We complied fully with our established policies and terms of service.
