Good afternoon, ***
As you are aware of, the management team at FIAT of Alexandria were not here when this occuredWhat I do have is the deal folder with signatures and customer information pertaining to the dealEven though the credit was pulled for identity verification, I do not believe or see that he was submitted anywhere for financingThis looked to be an identity verification only
Again, he had no issues the day when his credit was pulled and purchased the vehicle
I know he wants us to apologize, but I can not apologize for something that I see nothing wrong occuredIf he wrote on the application that he did not want his credit ran, and the manager still pulled it, that would be something elseBut the forms were signed and he signed off on a risk-based pricing notice clearly showing his credit scoreIf he had an issue about his credit being pulled, he should have said something thenBut the customer waited X amount of days to make a complaint. But I was not there when this happenedBut I'm pretty sure he didn't get upset then

I am rejecting this response because: There is nothing in what I have saidI recognized signing the documents to run my credit and should have pulled it back knowing that I was not requesting any credit to purchase the carI have brought them a bank check as payment and never apply for a a credit especially through FIATAll I was expected from them was that it was a mistake on their part since I paid cash. What was their reason for accessing my credit? Was is because I was able to provide them a bank check worth over $10,000? Complaint: ***

I am rejecting this response because: Maybe I have lived oversea  for too long because I do not see why a creadit verification constitute an identity verification. I do understand that I should have never signed the request for the credit verification because there was no need to. I had two valid forms of ID (My military ID and my state issued drivers license). I was even more shocked when I saw my signature a the bottom of the document showing my credit score because I did not remember signing it on the day. They have made a mistake by running my credit and it too hard for them to admit.

Good morning, [redacted]!
I was able to get the entire...

deal folder for this customer. There is a signed credit application and privacy notice that the customer signed and checked "Individual Credit - applying for credit in your own name and relying on your own income or assets and not the income or assets of another person as the basis for repayment of the credit requested". No where on the credit application does it say not to run credit.
Also, the customer stated that he found out that his credit was ran a few days after purchasing the vehicle. This is also false, as there is a signed Risk-Based Pricing Notice that shows his credit score, "understanding his credit score", and how to check his credit score. This form is dated on the 2nd of June; the same day he purchased. And his signature. If he had issues with his credit being ran, he should have made it known then when he signed this.
As you know, the management team here was not present during what transpired. I am using the paperwork  in the deal folder to piece together the puzzle. To me, this looked like normal business practice.

Review: I purchased a new 2013 Fiat 500 Pop from the Fiat of Alexandria end of May 2013. When I arrived at the dealership and after I signed all the paperwork I noticed there was a dent on the passenger side door. The studio claimed that they had no idea and that they would have to keep the car longer to repair it. I could not wait for them to keep the car as I needed the car immediately, as I had already planned to drive across country and all details of the trip had been booked in advance. I spoke with the general manager, who said she would cover the cost to fix the dent and signed on my contract that she would pay to fix the dent on the passenger side door. She said that I could just fax her the bill and they would cover it.

Once I arrived and settled in [redacted], OR with my new car - I called and visited the local Fiat dealership to have the dent looked at. The Fiat dealership of [redacted] said that they were unable to complete the repair at the dealership because of the size and paint damage they would need to have it repaired at their body shop. I then went to the body shop that I was referred to by the Fiat dealership and I received an itemized quote of the cost to repair, which was $1,505 total. I then sent the detailed cost breakdown as well as all images of the car from the body shop to [redacted] (general manager @ Fiat of Alexandria) and asked for her to confirm should would cover the cost. She responded that the price was too high and then offered to send me a check for $587. She said that she had her own body shop take a look at the images of the car and that was the estimate her body shop provided. Keep in mind, the estimate from [redacted]'s body shop was purely done based on looking at pictures of the car, her body shop never looked at the actual dent on the car in person. I then asked her if she could contact the local Fiat dealership here to discuss her concerns with the cost. The technician at the local body shop even offered to explain each itemized cost for her. She was non-responsive to my emails and at this point I began contacting Fiat customer service to get further assistance. Fiat customer service was also unable to make any further progress on my issues and the last I have heard from customer service is that she is refusing to pay more than $600 for the repair, that is the most she will offer.Desired Settlement: Fiat of Alexandria should reimburse me for the full cost to repair the dent as stated and signed on my contract by the general manager. The quote I received was from a Fiat dealership referred body shop. A specific or maximum price was not discussed when the general manager agreed to cover the cost for repair.

[redacted] called the Revdex.com to confirm the resolution described in the company response.

Review: I purchased my preowned Fiat from Fiat of Alexandria. My sales person said the vehicle is inspected and the fluids and topped off and the oil change would not be due for another 5k miles because according to him- it is part of the "reconditioning" of a car before it's sold again. The car alerted me that the engine oil needs to be changed after driving the car for around two thousand miles. I called the service department and was told the car has no service record at Fiat of Alexandria. I have called at least 4 times and they have refused to return my phone call.Desired Settlement: I would like Fiat of Alexandria to change the oil at no charge to me. I would like the car inspected and all the fluids and other important components looked at carefully. I would like a written report of an inspection as well.

Thanks.

[redacted],

Review: I have purchased a [redacted] FJ for the above mentioned dealer on June 2nd, 2014. While filling the document, I have randomly filled out a credit application form although I was purchasing the car with a Bank Certified Check. Few days later, I have received an email telling me that they were a hard inquiry on my credit. I then decided to call [redacted] to find out who had access my credit file because I did not remember authorizing such access to anyone. I was then asked if I had purchased anything from FIAT of Alexandria because they were the one who ran my credit. I told the [redacted] that I have never authorized then such request because because I did not request any loan to purchase the car. They then instructed me to have them write then to request that they remove the inquiry because it was a mistake.

When I called Fiat on that same day, I did not even remember filling a credit application and was told by their manager that I did fill out one. After asking their manager Ms. E[redacted] for a copy of the application that I have filled out, she at first told me that it was for their company record and as such she could not give me any copy of it. After telling her her over the phone that it was ok because I knew where to ask, she called back and faxed me the copies. I have called Ms. E[redacted] today because I still dit think that it was ok for them to check my credit since I was not getting a loan from them. Instead of recognizing that they have made a mistake, she hung up on me because after I called back thinking that we were disconnected, she told me that she has customers in her office and did not have time to spend on the issue because it was resolved. She told me that the inquiry did not have any impact my credit line which to me does not mean anything because they did not have business accessing my credit history. I understand them making a copy of all my pertinents documents such as insurance and drivers license to verify who I say that I am.Desired Settlement: I need them to write a letter to the 3 major credit bureau to request that they remove the inquiry off my credit history and myself along with an apology letter for mistakenly accessing my credit.
