Worst repair came open Andrew reply back to us that somebody hit the boat it was 4 days later and we never moved our boat un professional service and reply back to us we would of never contacted him if somebody hit the boat and it is the boat seat really do not use this company

Review: A few weeks ago I brought a boat side panel and engine cover to the North San Diego Fabrenew office to repair some small tears in the vinyl. The owner ([redacted]) was very nice and appeared to be knowledgeable. He estimated $175 to fix 3 small tears, and there was a 4th spot that I asked him to fix too. Four spots total, and I assumed that there would be some extra charge for the 4th spot that I added. He ended up repairing 3 of the tears, but did such a bad job on the 4th, that the section of the engine cover needed to be replaced. He made arrangements with a local upholstery shop to do the repair for $100, and only charged me $100 for the work he did. So far that sounded fair and reasonable.When I brought the engine cover to the upholstery shop to be repaired, it was clear that the entire cover needed to be replaced. There was gray overspray on the red sections, and red overspray on the gray. Additionally, the new and old grays did not match at all. After taking a good look at the side panel, I found it to have the same problem. It had two very different shades of gray, in a camouflage pattern on the entire panel. I dont really understand why he worked on the entire panel, when there were only two small holes to repair.The repair cost for my two damaged boat interior panels ended up costing $275 to repair, plus the $100 I gave to [redacted] at Fabrenew. The total was $375 for repairs that should have cost closer to $200. The very least he could do is refund me the $100 I gave him. I'd still be behind by $75 from the damage he did to the panels, not to mention the time lost and frustration.So far he now refuses to answer any of my emails, and its clear that he does not plan to take responsibility and make this right. I would greatly appreciate any help with this.Desired Settlement: $100 refund
