We did offer a full refund on Emmy Lou's set prior to entry to venue at box office or at guest relations if you did not want to stay for Lyle Lovett’s full hour set Emmy Lou had severe bronchitis and a temperature which caused her performance to be cancelled a couple hours prior to show - we and she did everything for her to perform but she just could not and reason we offered the refund even just for her opening act set If patrons stayed, we can’t offer a partial refund and we apologize for that inconvenience but still offered a long night of music from Lyle Lovett

I am rejecting this response because: it is a carefully worded misstatement of the factsWhen we arrived at the facility, there were no signs or any other indication that Emmylou Harris would not appearAn employee made an announcement asking people to not use cell phones or cameras, but there was absolutely no mention of Harris or indication the concert would not be held as advertisedAt no time during the entire Lyle Lovett concert or before or after was there any mention of any kind about HarrisThe only reason that we knew she would not appear was that after we had entered the arena early, with considerable time to spare I checked email messagesThe attached message promising a refund had been sent late that afternoon (after 4:PM, the time we left home)Since the tickets were for appearances by both artists, and I had purchased something called ticket insurance, it is clear that Fiddlers Green Ampitheater had an obligation to provide a refundTheir refusal to do so is a violation of common business ethics
