Fidelis Recovery Management Reviews (%countItem)

This company continues to call members of my family looking for me when I don't have any business with them.
This company calls my work (left messages with my secretary), my son and other members of my family. First of all, no one should be calling my job. Second they are calling my son and members of my family that was NEVER put as a reference on any kind of application so they should not be calling them in reference to any business of mine. The ex in laws should also not be called, again, they weren't listed on any application for anything. If they have any business that they need to speak to me about, then they can first attempt to contact me by mail. I, like everyone else, don't answer phone numbers I don't know. If you would like to rectify some business with me, please send it to me in writing. STOP harassing people.

Desired Outcome

please mail me something in writing.

Harassing phone calls
Beginning on 11/19/19, I began receiving phone calls on my cell from this company. They call up to five times daily. I finally answered the phone on 2/11/20 to ask who was calling. They said they're a collection agency and asked me for my name. I pointed out that if they're calling me they must know who I am. The rep said she had no name attached to the phone number and demanded I give her my name. She said they had numerous numbers they're calling so I needed to tell her my name. I asked that she send me a letter with information about the claim against me. She said to do that I needed to give her my name. We went in circles about this until she hung up on me.

I know for a fact that I have no debt in collection. It appears that this might be a scam to collect private information.

Desired Outcome

Stop calling or I'll report the company's illegal harassment to the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau and the Virginia Attorney General.

Fidelis Recovery Management Response • Mar 02, 2020

We apologize for any inconvience this may have caused. The phone number provided has been removed from our system.

This company keeps calling my job and my relatives telling them my personal business about a debt that is being handled by Freedom Debt Releif.
This company keeps calling my job and my relatives that I never gave a number out for and telling them I owe a debt. All of my debts are being handled through Freedom Debt Relief. This company needs to deal with them. I believe the debt they keep calling about is one that is paid or is having payments on it through Freedom Debt Relief. They have been told by my boss not to call my job and my relatives have told them not to call them. I will be reporting them to my state Attorney Generals office and the Fair Trade Commission.

Desired Outcome

I do not want them to contact my job, My relatives, or myself. They are to only contact Freedom Debt Relief.

Fidelis Recovery Management Response • Jan 13, 2020

We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused the consumer. Per the consumer request, we will contact Freedom Debt Relief.

They say they will contact Freedom Debt Relief.

I have been getting 3-5 calls every day from different numbers that when called back all say this company. This has been happening for 1 year+.
I have been getting 3-5 calls every day from different numbers that when called back all say this company. This has been happening for 1 year+. They never leave a voicemail. I dont answer any number that I dont recognize. I see they are a collection company but I also get calls from individual cell phone #'s shortly after these people call me and when I call those cell phone numbers back they are just normal people who have no idea what I'm talking about. I suspect this company of using shady dialing practices to mirror my zip code and first 3 of my phone number to try to get me to answer

Desired Outcome

Do not call my number again. XXX XXX-XXXX. If it is a legitimate debt collection than send me signed upon delivery mail

Fidelis Recovery Management Response • Dec 12, 2019

We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused the consumer. We will attempt to communicate via a letter format. Consumer can call us directly to resolve this matter.

This company calls not only myself but also my distant family members multiple times a day and threatens to call my employer. Shady business!
They call me, my distant family members and threaten to call my employer and anyone else they can think of. This is the most unprofessional business I've ever been in contact with.

Desired Outcome

Contact MYSELF to resolve this. NOT people you google and think are my family whom have nothing to do with me. Stop harassing me!

Fidelis Recovery Management Response • Nov 26, 2019

I apologize for any inconvenience. We have removed the numbers per the consumer request. Contact will only be made on the number provided by the consumer.

They call multiple times a day not only to my phone, but also to family members never leave a message between 8am-9:30pm.
Almost every day multiple times a day. Never leaving a message. Instead of calling and not leaving messages or threatening people send debt validation letters. Maybe you will get a better response. I'm a mom of a disabled daughter and our home is on a very tight budget.

Desired Outcome

Stop bothering me and my family members. If I ACTUALLY owe money send me a debt validation letter from the original account holders and I will work something out with them. Not your company.

Fidelis Recovery Management Response • Sep 26, 2019

We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused the consumer. The number provided has been removed from our system for calling.

Repeat calling every day to the point of harrassment.
I have nothing to do with this company, nor do I have a debt in collection, but this company calls multiple times a day, all day, but never leaves a message. I finally called the number back to see who it was. The amount of calls is harassment already considering I have no business with this company.

Desired Outcome

I want my phone number removed from their calling list.

Fidelis Recovery Management Response • Jul 10, 2019

We apologize for any inconvenience to the consumer. The number provided by the consumer has been removed from our system.

(The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.)
As long as they comply and dont call me anymore, its fine

Calling my employer regarding bad debt. Have been asked numerous times not to call there. Also sent letter asking them NOT to call my employer.
They call my employer's number EVERY DAY. They are told EVERY DAY by me, by the receptionist or by my supervisor, depending on who answers the call, to NOT call my place of business again because I am not allowed to have personal calls at work. However, they continue to call multiple times EVERY DAY. Upon asking the reps name, they won't provide it. Upon asking to speak to a supervisor, they hang up. They have my home # and my cell # on file to use. If this doesn't stop, I am going to lose my job because of their incessant phone calls!

Desired Outcome

I'm not denying the debt that is owed, but I do not have the funds to pay it at this time. I just want them to stop calling my employer before they make me lose my job!!

Fidelis Recovery Management Response • Jul 16, 2019

I apologize for any inconvenience the calls may have caused. I am not able to locate this consumer in our system. Please provide additional details for us to locate the account.

They call me several times a day and leave no messages. This needs to stop as I have no outstanding debt
They call several times a day and leave no message so I have no idea why they are calling. I went on the website to see if I could enter my information to see if any debt collections come up but there is no way to do this. To my knowledge, I have no outstanding debt. The calls need to stop as it is getting very annoying. Looks like I am not the only one.

Desired Outcome

Stop contacting me

Fidelis Recovery Management Response • Jul 10, 2019

The number listed has been moved to not dial. We apologize for any inconvenience this has caused.

This company calls me 3 to 5 times a day... never leaves a message... as to its reasons.
The company has called me a 100 times... 3 to 5 times a day... from 9 am to 9 pm.. There is no message left so I do not know what they are calling about.

Desired Outcome

I just want the contact/calling to stop.

Calls multiple times/day, leaves no message. I have no business relationship with them and I do not know why they continue calling.
As with others who have filed complaints on Fideles, I receive about a half dozen calls from them daily. They never leave a message, which is the precise reason why I googled the company!
These calls interrupt my workday and are a nuisance, to say the least!

Desired Outcome

I want the calls to STOP.

Fidelis Recovery Management Response • Jun 10, 2019

We would like to apologize to the consumer for any inconvenience. The phone number listed by the consumer has been removed from our system. Consumer should not receive any additional phone calls from our office.

Customer Response • Jun 10, 2019

(The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.)

This agency calls me 5 to 8 times a day and when I attempt to ask them what and why they are calling they hang up on me and don't give me any information that is attached me to personally. They don't leave voicemails, they just call over and over. i've asked them to stop and they proceed to call. I asked them time and time again to remove my number from their list!

they must be stopped immediately, or sued!

I'm super frustrated.

~Ms.

Desired Outcome

No further contact by the busi If this account really does involve me and they are playing a game, please send me a letter in writing so i can take care of my business with them!!! Or else they should never call again!

Fidelis Recovery Management Response • May 15, 2019

We thought we already replied to this Revdex.com we had the incorrect person and we removed the number back on 3-20-19

Customer Response • May 17, 2019

(The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.)
Thank you for removing me out of your system

This company continues to call me even though they know they are calling the wrong person/number. I have blocked them many of times but they still call me and harass me. I told them today to stop calling me and was yelled at by some woman. This is unethical and unacceptable behavior. This sounds like normal practice for them, so something needs to be done.

Desired Outcome

No further contact by the busi I need them to get their business in order and call the actual people they are trying to contact. I need them to stop harassing me.

Fidelis Recovery Management Response • Apr 08, 2019

we have removed this number from our system on 4/4/2019.

This company continues to call me at both my home and cell phone numbers looking for a family member who does not reside with me or in my home. Despite my telling this company that the person they are attempting to locate does not reside with me they continue to call me in attempts to locate the consumer who has an account with them. The calls are made to both my home and cell phone daily, several times a day, despite the person they are looking for having a working telephone number that has not changed since 2000. This company does have the correct and current information on the account holder, they are just calling family members and using that as an intimidation tactic to secure a return call from the person in question, which is a violation of the FDCPA. I have told the people who call me several times this is not the right number to reach the person in question, and they continue to call both my cell and home phones.

Desired Outcome

No further contact by the busi At this time I would like this "business" to cease and desist all calls to both my home and cell phone numbers as well as any other family member(s) they may be harassing. As I stated above, the person they are looking for does not reside with me in my home and has had the same telephone number for almost 20 years and they have been told to stop so this company is using illegal tactics and methods of intimidation to secure a return phone call from someone who obviously isn't answering their call

Fidelis Recovery Management Response • Apr 08, 2019

hE IS LYING DUE TO nc lAW PROSECUTION

Spoke with someone who ID them self as supervisor Angela T, did not verified right party contact disclosing information, she mention that she forgot and then after saying who the debt was owed to, she came back to ask for personal information. I want to file a formal complaint because this account was sent to this collection agency 03-12-19, this agency sent letter to a wrong address and called me on 3-15-19 overshadowing my rights demanding payment in full withing the first 30 day violation on the section 1692g FDCPA. She also stated that that I was refusing to pay, I was not, I did asked her about payment options, she offered me a payment plan of $111 or a settlement 35% discount. I mention to her that I was not on a position to settle the account at this time, which at that point she said that no settlements will be offer then, because I did not pay that day (again demanding payment withing validation period). Agent was now being rude and talking over me, I was asking for account information as I was willing to provide new address so I can have my first initial letter, she said she will email that to me. I asked for a supervisor and she refuse to transfer and stated that she was the manager, I then asked her for her compliance chef officer, she did not provide any information how to get in communication with them and said that if need to call back to check my caller id because she was on so much hurry. I also asked her if the account was reported, she reply to check my credit report, witch I understand that the account can not be reported on validation period.

Desired Outcome

Not applicable i would like for this agency to have better trained people that can handle consumers needs in a professional matter, not an arrogant and disrespectful agent that wants to talk over consumer trying to intimidate because an account in collections. your agency need more training in compliance and FDCPA, i hope your chef compliance officer review that call made around 2pm E.T 3-15-19

This company calls 4-5 times daily from many different phone numbers, they don't state what the alleged debt is and they are threatening. I don't owe any debt. They are alleging I owe for something but refuse to say what.

Desired Outcome

Other (requires explanation) Stop calling me for a debt I don't owe, this is harassment and it is causing great hardship as I have disabilities.
